The numbers in the first column to the left are given. What changes is the multiplier which is an arithmetic progression from 10 downwards. The last shown is 7. Hence the next is 6. Therefore 3 multiplied by 6 is 18.

Each number on the left is multiplied by the number one less than itself:
- \(9 \times 10 = 90\)
- \(8 \times 9 = 72\)
- \(7 \times 8 = 56\)
- \(6 \times 7 = 42\)
Following this pattern:
- \(3 \times 4 = 12\)
Answer 12

You are actually wrong Dr. Lam, the answer is 12 not 18.
Sequence is
9*10 = 90
8*9 = 72
7*8 = 56
6*7 = 42
5*6 = 30
4*5 = 20
3*4= 12
I believe 12 is the answer according to that sequence.
I am saddened by the news of the passing on of Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee. South Sudanese will remember her for unwavering support to their struggle. Among her many contributions, she sponsored the Sudan Peace Act, a precursor to the CPA 2005. RIP.
My heartfelt condolences to Cde Yasir Saeed Arman for the untimely passing of his dear mother. May the Almighty rest her soul in eternal peace and grant him and the whole family strength to withstand the shock of the big loss.
Hats off on this historic occasion when the tinder box of the revolutionary situation that had matured in Southern Sudan was ignited. Kerubino in Bor, Riek Macuoc in Pibor and your comrades in arms will be remembered for their courage and patriotism.
Commemorating the 68th anniversary of the historic Torit Uprising, Tongkat Group today organized a function in which I was one of the speakers.

On #Newsday just now: #SouthSudan's acting foreign minister Deng Dau Deng reacts strongly to UN's decision to extend sanctions, and accuses US of wanting regime change in his country.
An article titled “The misplaced honor by the Chollo King” appeared on Radio Tamazuj page on 28/2 authored by Tawfiq Musa Tongo. Maliciously, someone extracted it attaching my name to it. I never wrote that article. The matter will be pursued.
Death robbed us of a true friend of the South Sudanese people. May you Rest In Peace dear Roger Winter.
Hats off to our basketball team for last night’s decisive win. Who said South Sudan can’t be on the top?
Congratulations to our boys for putting us back firmly and proudly on the league of nations.
We mark the revival of the call for self-determination for our people after its actual realization with a lot of soul searching as our people continue suffering and their lot not improving. But failed leadership is an aberration.
You can’t separate sports from politics. Ever heard that President Nixon’s success in restoring USA relations with china was initiated by a table tennis game?
No!! Uncle, you don't just bring politics to this.
All the politicians have failed us.

In a span of 48 hours our national basketball team did wonders and made us proud. Congratulations boys! You achieved in a span of hours what we the politicians couldn’t in 11 years. 9th of July this year should be dedicated to you.
