Testing something new 👀 Started using @arcus_xyz for perps. Not going to judge it off the landing page, putting actual trades through it and seeing how it performs. Will share the good, the bad and everything in between soon. 🫡 They have 0 maker fees right now but i like to slam those market orders mostly hence the perp fees shown in below image.

I’ve tried 5 crypto prop firms over the last 6 months: @breakoutprop @CFTradercom @ProprXYZ @HypernovaX @KleinFunding After actually trading them and requesting payouts, here’s my current ranking and some prop firms probably won’t like it. 1. Breakout - still #1 for me This is how a prop firm should work: You trade. You make money. You get paid. No consistency rule gymnastics. No digging through 15 pages of terms trying to figure out what random rule you might have violated. I’ve taken plenty of payouts and haven’t had payout drama. Biggest weakness? Asset selection. If you mainly trade BTC, ETH and larger coins though, I’d take Breakout over pretty much everything else I’ve tested. 2. Hypernova / Propr - on chain props are getting seriously competitive These have become my next two go to firms. Straightforward rules, fast payouts and none of the usual “congratulations on being profitable, now here are 7 reasons we might not pay you” experience. I slightly prefer Hypernova because fills on larger positions have been better for me, but Propr has been solid too. The biggest advantage? They feel much closer to: Make money → Get paid Which really shouldn’t be revolutionary in prop trading, but apparently it is. 3. Crypto Fund Trader - best asset selection by far If your priority is having almost EVERYTHING available to trade, CFT is difficult to beat. You’re trading through a Bybit sub-account, so the asset selection absolutely destroys most traditional crypto prop firms. Newer coins, majors, plenty of markets - huge advantage. I’ve had no payout issues personally. But… It’s more expensive, there are more rules, and payouts are slower compared to my top picks. Their Break accounts were honestly one of their best products and they’re gone now, which is disappointing. Still a very solid choice if asset selection matters more to you than simplicity. 4. Klein Funding - this is where I have a problem The Cleo plan gets marketed heavily around: “No rules.” “No hidden rules.” “No added rules.” Sounds great. Then I got a 2-minute minimum holding-time rule added. Friends of mine have apparently received 5-minute holding requirements and other restrictions. For me, this is exactly the type of thing traders hate about the prop industry. If you sell an account based on being rule-light, then adding restrictions later completely changes what the trader thought they were buying. That’s why Klein is currently last on my list. So what would I actually use today? Mostly BTC / ETH / large-cap crypto? → Breakout Want crypto + more markets/stocks with simple rules? → Hypernova / Propr Want basically every coin imaginable, including newer listings? → Crypto Fund Trader Prop firms don’t need 50 complicated rules. Give traders clear terms, let them trade, and if they profit legitimately… Pay them. Apparently that’s still a competitive advantage in 2026. This is just my personal experience with the firms I’ve actually used. Conditions can change, so check the latest rules before buying anything. I am currently testing more firms too will share about them soon.
