Wales did not refuse to let the All Blacks perform the haka on the pitch in 2006. NZ chose to do it in the changing rooms after rejecting a proposed order allowing Wales to respond with their national anthem, per 1905 precedent.

That was Cardiff’s first Welsh derby win to nil post-2003, the last nilling of a Welsh side was 57-0 over Cross Keys in April 2001.
It’s our fourth straight derby win, the best run since May-December 2022, and first back-to-back wins over Ospreys since December 2019/August 2020.

A word for St Helens - the result clearly helped but we enjoyed going back there. From our seated position the banked terrace looked fantastic, the atmosphere was one of a proper traditional ground. Yes there was booing & banter but hey it was a derby!
