This paper explores the four-stage method which underpinned my PhD project: interviewing people on foot & working with performance artists through events & walking tours. Being playful helps people to open up & offers meaningful insights which lead to better researcher qestions.

🤔 What would Wales be without NationCymru? Less scrutiny. Fewer Welsh stories. A weaker voice. 💪 Make sure that never happens. 👇 Join the fight for independent media today nation.cymru/support-us

What is your article going to be called? That can help focus on certain terminology. And where will it be going? My other thought is that psychogeography should always be open to what is out there. How do walking and other methods help us find out what kind of vibe exists?

Good question Victoria. What does vibe mean to you? It is about shared feelings, a sense of place, vibrancy, mood, even a lack of energy. Give it some other descriptions in words you are familiar with and we can connect you to some theories. – at Cardiff, Wales

Thanks Phil. It's amazing what happens when people tell stories led by/focused on spaces - particularly ones that don't exist anymore and/or have changed a lot. Streetview goes back to 2008 in most places, so let's of potential there.
