3-step guide to a viral launch from SF founders: 1. jump out of a plane to launch pancake.ai 2. set a realistic goal, like hitting #1 on Product Hunt in 24 hours with 0 prep 3. make your users a promise you’ll keep, like breaking a Guinness World Record for the tallest pancake stack if they help you win observe the consequences. we're picking a place to break the record rn btw

We announced an agreement to acquire a nationwide low-band spectrum license portfolio that will pave the way for @Starlink to become a major mobile carrier in the US. With this new spectrum and our Gen2 constellation, Starlink Mobile can ensure Americans have access to high-speed mobile broadband no matter where they are → spacex.com/updates#starlink-…

Had opus 5.5 make a video predicting the next 50 years I'm optimistic that the end will be beautiful, but the transition will be a little rough

Introducing Contrastive Language Model (CLM): an ultra-fast System One Model trained with a contrastive learning objective that connects states and actions. CLM-8B is pre-trained on internet-scale data and delivers up to 9× faster inference than Jev ⚡ while achieving comparable performance across computer-use, gaming, and tool-calling tasks. With lightweight fine-tuning, CLM-8B sets a new SOTA on challenging agentic coding benchmarks, such as DeepSWE (81.6%) and Terminal-Bench 2.1 (87.6%). In contrast, Jev fails to serve as an effective verifier for these long-horizon tasks. We also build an efficient training and serving infra for CLMs by disaggregating states and actions, allowing their embeddings to be cached and reused independently. This substantially reduces inference latency in settings where the state evolves continuously while the action set remains fixed. Finally, we establish scaling laws for CLMs and show that the test contrastive loss decreases predictably as a power law in training compute, model size, and dataset size. 📄 Blog: contrastive-lm.notion.site 💻 Code: github.com/Contrastive-LM/CL… 🗣️ Discord: discord.gg/5dAQEDJBs 🤗 Data & Models: huggingface.co/Contrastive-L… More details on CLM’s architecture, data recipe, and scaling laws in the thread below 🧵

We’re doing really meaningful work at endurance building BrainOS for $20M-200M industrial groups. Think manufacturing, construction, and even logistics. We’re making a difference in people’s lives. Giving them back their time and redefining their roles to things that are more aligned with their natural talents and passions. We have been bootstrapped since day one, and intend on keeping it that way. We don’t need the hype of a big raise to fuel our mission. We just want to be of service. The reward for good work is more work. aka cash flow. We are also building really cool internal tools and we use all the things we build and sell to power endurance. This has been impossibly difficult but so incredibly rewarding. Shouldn’t an AI startup be AI native? Yes! If you’re excited about working on really hard industrial challenges and AI/software, this may be a fun place to be. Our culture is fun and something we care deeply about. It can be summed up in three core values:  1. Be less dumb 2. Be of service 3. Get the job done Early stage startups are where you see if you’re as good as you think you are. Come join us! We’re hiring for GTM engineering and AI Engineering.

My appreciation for my former engineering colleagues and all software engineers who designed, built, and maintained products and services I love is at a hundred million, trillion after wrangling with Claude Code and Grok Build. Thank you, SWE!

We've been building this into a freight brokerage and a construction group. My favorite part is hearing how someone is able to leave work a little earlier to pick up their kids.
Either you die a system of record or you live long enough to become a domain-specific harness

I've used Claude Code 80% and Grok Build 20% the last few months. I've had Astra 6 running for 6 hours now and still headroom left. Fable 5.1 ran for 1.5 hours and is out.

Jacob is correct here—we really do earnestly believe AI could kill all humans! I personally think it is >10% within the next decade. I believe Anthropic is trying its best, but we do not yet have a plan to solve alignment for superintelligence and are not clearly on track to.

The people building AI earnestly believe that it could kill us all by the end of the decade. This is not a marketing stunt. If anything, many executives and senior researchers will couch their phrasing in the press to sound sensible - but I hear the same people express fear privately. No other human activity poses this level of danger.

We built this pretty cool outer loop IDE. It is meant to be the front door for the modern software engineering team using ai to write code. Bring your favorite inner loop ide and plug it in. Track multiple projects within multiple groups/accounts and multiplayer enabled. Who wants to try an early alpha?

The best feature in @grok build is Elon's algorithm. Challenge the requirement, delete, simplify, accelerate, and automate.

I don’t have any ground breaking new way to use AI, but one useful way to set an agent to do design work is to build an engineering agent. Spend an hour or so leveling up its skills with challenges, commit it to memory and file. Craft is so much better. LLM’s are terrible at large scale design projects. Even a simple landing page. Create a UI agent instead and teach it.

12 hours in with @bot and I’m hooked. As always, one should never bet against an Elon led team.

It's been really fun leveraging @bot for GTM! Have spent a few weeks iterating on some of my workflows, so I wanted to share how I use Grok Bot at SpaceXAI.

Might be my favorite HoF speech ever. Excellence.
