I didn't want to post on here because there's a lot of performative activism and it honestly makes me kind of sick. But, I also believe that maybe this could help. We'll see.
Every month, I've been working a few extra contracts to be able to afford $500 a month for Palestine relief. I know it's not a lot, but it's all I can do. Some people can't help with money, so help with service, which I've also been doing on the weekends. Some can't help with service, so they help with words. Some can't help with words, so they help with compassion. Whatever way you can help, please do. It's got nothing to do with being "anti-Jewish," that's reductive and silly and only turns a genuine attempt to help into something ugly in order to keep us all angry and the wrong people. It's got everything to do with being anti militant government that is committing actual genocide in real time but the safety of a screen makes it still feel hypothetical, hypothetical in a way that gives folks a false platform to judge as literal children are being massacred.
I've been choosing to donate to @Najaminstitute, but there are so many ways to help.
