Children of the Reich. “Silent Generation” is rather befitting. It’s an honor and privilege to know some of them.

Older generations of Germans always had tone of sadness, maybe resignation, in their voice when I remember them now. They knew the world as it was, before current world mess. The ones who grew up in eg Prussia, or grew up in the 1930’s and 40’s. Their world was ripped from them.
