Alpha power reduction is the most reliable neural signature of the psychedelic state. It has been found to correlate inversely with the intensity of psychedelic-induced visual hallucinations and subjective effects. But what if eye movements primarily drive these effects?
In this lecture, @TzvetanPopov challenges the premise that EEG components underpin cognition, arguing that they reflect oculomotor action. Waves beyond waveforms, enable collective behavior, ranging from neurons to animal societies.

In this lecture, @emmsskyyy unveiled survey data on psychedelic use during COVID-19. Psychedelic users often had worse mental health than drug-naive individuals. Reducing use post-crisis improved mental health, while increased use worsened it. youtube.com/watch?v=TDygVYcm…
