is incredibly upsetting to Doorman…. the tome is so mysterious but I currently interpret it as its own living entity, maybe without conscious thought? that it latches itself onto whoever is closest to it and “invades” their body and mind. So you can see why Door
would be even more worried. I really would love to know if Abe will take the Doorman up on this… it’s very likely the plot with Geist will stay and just get updated but I love thinking about it!

it’s a little complicated… my headcanon is that Abrams is a trans man! and Doorman, the entity, is a genderless being. However, his host body is a cisgender man.
