What an excellent story! Can’t wait to see the movie.
Today's the day! 🦍📽️ The @IvanMovie is now streaming on @disneyplus.
To celebrate, I'm giving away a classroom set of 24 IVAN paperbacks (w/ signed bookplates!) to a US educator who RTs this. I'll notify a random winner on 8/24 at 2 PM PT.
Good luck, and enjoy the film! ❤️

No, but nurses have PPE, limited patient contact, and infectious disease training. I have a couple English degrees, 120 kids, a mask, and a box of Clorox wipes. Please don’t compare us.

As a parent AND teacher, I implore parents to give teachers grace...we did not chose this situation, but we will make the best of it and persevere...

Okay, with the @gatesfoundation @DonorsChoose thing today, I won't be able to keep up, volume way too big, and I can't figure out how to get the job done, except intermittently...

Right now I’d say Stella from The One and Only Ivan!
A highlight with students was seeing their work quantity change when I mentioned we can still do our weekly raffle and I would mail their prize (usually Skittles or Starburst). A highlight as a teacher was having my principal deliver my lawn sign for Teacher Appreciation week.
