An incredible man 💙
Not a day goes by without thinking about you pal…
Radcliffe FC remembers the life of former Chairman Paul Hilton, on the second anniversary of his terribly sad, and sudden passing at the age of 43.
Paul’s indelible work for our Club will never be forgotten, and our thoughts remain with his loved ones. 🖤

Just a fleeting visit back on Twitter for me…
Another incredible performance from the lads today, outstanding to a man. Unbelievable support as always as well, thank you ⚪️🔵
Unfortunately behaviour off the pitch has left a sour taste!
A player racially abuse, fans attacked outside of the ground and my car scratched on both sides in the car park!
Absolute cowardly scumbags!!!

Our Veterans Bar will be open from 6:30pm tonight! ✅
Fans can enter via the Players Entrance with the relevant military ID 🪪
You can also bring a guest who is a non-veteran, but they must have a full paying match ticket 🎟️

Incredible numbers…
Away game after away game. Thank you 🫡

Thank you for your support on the road this week! 🤍💙
One of the best men on the planet…
An unbelievable football manager. Over 800 games managed and six promotions, all by the age of 42.
Very few people will understand what he’s had to go through over the last few months but through it all, he hasn’t made a single excuse.
Proud of you. Love you pal 💙
Radcliffe FC can confirm that Bernard Morley has tendered his resignation as First-Team Manager today.
The Club has accepted his decision, and he will leave his position with immediate effect.

Tough one to take last night.
We went 2–0 up, were pegged back by a very good side and then lost it in the final minute.
The support was absolutely incredible, as it always is. We’re extremely grateful for the backing you give us from the first minute to the last. Thank you.
We’re all disappointed, but we also need perspective. We will lose games of football. We’re now competing at a level where the opposition are strong every single week.
As manager, all I ask is that every player gives everything for the shirt. Since I walked through the door, they have done that in every single game.
Be disappointed. Question me, that comes with the job, but let’s not lose perspective when we lose a game.
I take full responsibility, we’ll learn from it…
Bernadette is an incredible woman and a true inspiration to everyone at the club.
Her courage inspired the lads on Tuesday night, that result was for her 💙
It was our pleasure to host Bernadette McCann on Tuesday, who recovered from a period of hospitalisation over the summer to make the game ❤️
She has been attending #buryfc games since the late 1940s, and more recently has been helping to repair kit for the Club 🙌
NEW FOR RAP — POST-16 PROVISION
We’re pleased to announce that RAP is now expanding our provision to support young people aged 16–18.
Our new Post-16 programme is designed for young people who may be unsure about their next step, need an alternative to a traditional college environment, or simply need more support to help them move forward.
The programme will focus on education, personal development, confidence, employability and progression, helping every young person work towards the pathway that is right for them — whether that is:
• Further education
• An apprenticeship
• Employment
• Further training and development
And we’re delighted that the programme will be delivered from a truly unique setting — Gigg Lane, the home of Bury FC.
Rather than a traditional classroom or college environment, young people will have the opportunity to learn, develop and build towards their future from inside one of Bury’s most iconic venues.
We’ll be holding a Post-16 Drop-In Day at Gigg Lane for young people and families who would like to come down, meet the team and find out more about what we can offer.
📍 Gigg Lane, Bury FC
📅 Thursday 20th August
⏰ 11:00am–2:30pm
There’s no pressure and no need to have everything figured out. Come down, have a conversation with us and find out whether RAP Post-16 could be the right next step.
This is a natural progression for RAP.
We already work with young people to re-engage them with education, rebuild confidence and create positive pathways. Now, we can continue that support beyond Year 11 and into the crucial transition towards adulthood.
Ages 16–18. New opportunities. Real pathways.
For referrals, enquiries or further information about our Post-16 provision, please get in touch with the RAP team.

Responsibility. Accountability. Progress.

Today marks 12 months since the passing of our much loved President, Stuart Johnson.
Before last night’s game, both teams came together for a minute’s silence as we remembered Stuart and the enormous contribution he made to local football.
Always remembered, never forgotten 💙
Gigg Lane under the lights 💙❤️
As a kid, I always enjoyed being at Gigg more on a Tuesday night under the lights than a Saturday game. Tonight was my first experience of it as the manager - and WOW, it was everything I hoped and dreamed of.
Thank you to every Shaker that was there tonight, it was an incredible atmosphere all the way through ❤️⚪️🔵

We’re pleased to confirm that @L_white8 is set to be discharged from hospital shortly following his recent health scare.
Louis is doing well and remains in good spirits. Following tests, doctors have identified an issue relating to the heart muscle and he will now continue his recovery at home under medical guidance.
Louis is expected to be away from football for up to two months while he focuses fully on his recovery.
We know how many supporters have been asking after Louis and we’re sure everyone associated with the Club will be delighted to hear that he is heading home.
We wish Louis all the very best with his recovery and look forward to seeing him back with us when the time is right.

An incredible move that came so close to an opener on Saturday! 👏 #buryfc
Every now and then something happens in “the real world” that’s puts everything into perspective…
Relax and recover as best as you can @L_white8 - you’re in all of our thoughts.
See you soon pal 💙
.@L_white8 remains in hospital but is doing well and is in good spirits.
Initial test results have ruled out a heart attack, although doctors have identified an issue relating to the heart muscle.
He will undergo further tests over the coming days to establish exactly what the issue is and the next steps in his recovery.
Naturally, football takes a back seat and Louis is expected to be unavailable for selection for a period of time while he recovers.
We know many supporters have been asking after him and we’re sure everyone associated with #buryfc will join us in wishing Louis well.
We’ll provide further updates when appropriate.
