Real missed opportunity by the producers...The least they could do when Jess bragged about her kiss was to have Kathy drop from the rafters and yell at her to 'Zip it!!!' #wyatr @annahossnieh @ArdenMyrin
Spent the day in court with @nehachughlaw and came home to find a copy of the book that we co-authored a chapter for had arrived in the mail! Lucky to have a great friend to write with (and practice with, rant with and share diner lunches with etc etc etc).
Charity is completely torn between Dotun and Joey. Too bad she doesn't have Aaron's coin. #wyatr @annahossnieh
Glad James didn't give Charity a family heirloom, but it's weird that his mom has the same handwriting as Jesse Palmer. #wyatr @annahossnieh @ArdenMyrin
Loved hearing @jenniferw613 on @cbcallinaday talking books. Such great recommendations and thoughtful reviews.
Charity: I was emotionally abused.
Zach: Oh... One time, in my relationship, I forgot about my love of Nickelback.

I am so glad that I was able to join in the conversation about bail in Ontario. It's the first segment up if you missed it this morning!
On today’s show: Premiers and the police are calling for a tighter bail system, particularly for firearms offences.
Plus, the story of a Black woman accused of murder in 1890s Toronto; a report on primary care; and abuse in amateur sports. cbc.ca/1.6735845
What a day... Navigated court appearances this morning with a coughing kid nearby, assisted a client at a parole hearing (granted!), presented to the Standing Committee on Justice Policy about bail reform, AND managed to sign the kids up for their coveted spots at summer camp.
Oh hi! I wrote something! (specifically my first criminal law round-up in some time. and I would love if you checked it out.) Happy holidays!
The first post in a long time is up on the blog, with a round-up of some of the biggest cases of criminal law in 2022. Have a look!

Our last @soloqueens1 session of the year is coming up on Friday! It's time to look back at the year, and talk about the highs and lows, lessons learned and goals for next year. And maybe reflect on our favourite memes of 2022....
This is our most interactive session, and we're excited to chat about the challenges and fun of practice. Even if you can't make it, send us any questions that you would like me and @nehachughlaw to answer!

Les travaux débutent sur l'avenue Laurier débutent pour refaire les traverses piétionnent.
This is gong to be a great session. And probably the most entertaining way to bank some CPD before the deadline!! (Accredited for an hour in Ontario)
