Beyond #WAAW: We engaged our champions to reflect on what "Act Now: Protect Our Present, Secure Our Future" means to them, highlighting the urgency of action, collective responsibility, and the need to safeguard health today to secure a healthier future for generations to come.

On Aug 9, as part of the capacity-building phase for AMRITP 3.0, we hosted Ismail Auwal for a session on Design Thinking—a valuable tool for designing effective interventions. The session focused on applying the design thinking process to develop interventions targeting AMR.

"If not us, then who?" "If not now, then when?" On August 2, Hafeez Hamza from @DucitBlueFdn delivered a powerful presentation, urging our AMRITP 3.0 participants to become champions against AMR and embrace their roles in AMR advocacy as young people.

Our session today on Design Thinking will be led by Ismail Auwal. We are not only raising AMR champions but also empowering young people to create innovative solutions for AMR and other pressing public health challenges.

Tomorrow, we will be hosting Hafeez Hamza of @DucitBlueFdn who would be facilitating a session on the role of youth in AMR advocacy. Our goal is to continue inspiring the next generation of AMR champions.

On July 26, we had the privilege of hosting @ay_dauda who educated the participants in our AMRITP 3.0 about AMR and One Health. This marks the beginning of a journey — to continue strengthening youth engagement in AMR advocacy in Nigeria.

We are delighted to be kicking off the third cohort of our program with a lecture facilitated by @ay_dauda of @OHinAction. With 25 students participating in this cohort, our goal is to expand youth engagement in AMR across Nigeria.
