We know there's a lot in the news about #BowelCancer right now, so we want to take a moment to share the symptoms that can help spot the disease early.
The earlier it’s found, the more treatable it’s likely to be.
These symptoms don’t always mean cancer, but it’s important to speak to your GP to find out what's causing them.

Today @NHSEngland has announced that it will lower the threshold at which home-screening kits for bowel cancer will trigger a referral for further testing 📢
The NHS estimates that this change will lead to 35% more screening colonoscopies each year in England to help diagnose, rule out or even prevent bowel cancer.

Now I don’t have celeb status, a big following or platform but if my story reaches one person and makes a difference then that’s all that matters. So here it is a 🧵 1/7 @bowelcanceruk @nevertooyounguk #nevertooyoung
It’s been an absolute whirlwind so far so time to heal and process it all is much needed but I feel it’s important to share my story, even if it only gets one person to check their 💩 and go to the GP because something isn’t quite right for them. Because honestly… 6/7
