I'm casting some roles for my upcoming feature. Sending this out again in case we missed anyone. We haven't started auditioning yet so people who already applied are still being considered. If you know someone who's right for the role please share.
If you're a migrate theatre maker in the UK fill this survey if you haven't already.
THANK YOU to everyone who filled in our survey.
We've been overwhelmed by the response to it and decided to extend its closing date to reach as many migrant artists as possible.
Details and link just below - it takes only 5 min fill it in.

The REC are concerned to hear that Evita lacks any Argentinian (or Latin American) representation in their cast - another example of the ongoing lack of representation in our industry.
We've had some great suggestions suggestions but still looking for more submissions for Helen, Leo (very important that he's Latin American with a London or RP accent) Richard and Lucía (Latin American woman 50s, with native Spanish and able to speak it with a Mexican accent)
My latest project is casting. Please share! And if interested apply to [email protected]

My partner is English and says he never heard such a thing as a pen license at school. Is it actually a common thing in the UK school system or not?

I'm researching for a script and looking to talk to people who are British-Mexican with a Mexican mum and a British dad. If you know anyone who fits that description who might be willing to talk to me about their experience growing up in the UK please point them my way.
Do not miss this show. It is so good! So happy it's back 😀

“If you surround yourself with talented people and you give them the freedom to achieve, then the work will never fail.”
Wow. I think things have changed a lot for the better in the last 10 years. When l first started l'd get a lot of backhanded compliments like 'It was good... for a non-native.' Sad to see some people still think that way. Good on Spotlight for taking it down.
"It is highly unlikely we will cast an artist whose mother tongue is not English given the demands of the shakespearian text"
@SpotlightUK Can you explain why this gross behaviour is allowed on your site?
