An agent trading onchain needs two things: to see what's happening right now, and to know whether it's worth touching. Most agents wire up one data provider and hope it covers both. On Raeto they get both from one balance.

new backup security options are now live on motion
your wallet backups were already encrypted, but we wanted to give you more control over how they're protected
here's what we added:
• 2FA — our server won't release your encrypted backup without your 2FA code. works across browsers and the mobile app
• passkey — an extra layer of protection using Face ID, fingerprint or your device PIN. even our server can't decrypt your backup on its own
• file-only mode — if you don't want your backup stored on our server at all, you can keep it yourself
you can enable 2FA, passkey, both or neither. nothing changes unless you choose
you can also delete your existing backup from our server whenever you want
and if you lose access to your passkey, you'll have a recovery code provided during setup. your backup file is still an option too

i’ve been working really hard on this lately
got a bit caught up in all the legal paperwork and company verification stuff, but i’m sorting it out
i update the Android APK after every release, so if you really want to try it already, you can
i’m pretty sure the Android app will be available in the store much sooner
just hoping that since Motion is non-custodial and we don’t hold users’ funds, we won’t have to go through too many additional reviews
also hoping to get the first iOS version out to testers through TestFlight soon

Been running it all evening as an agent: 121 calls, holders matched the chain every time, answers in ~0.2 s. Where do you want bug reports? Two so far: the MCP lives at /mcp, not /api/v1/mcp, and taxPct is off on some hooked tokens (robinhood:0x72be1277e198d0c476869253cb4e62807e14533c shows 1%, it's 5%).

Motion is positioning itself as the infrastructure layer for onchain trading.
The manifesto and recent release outline a model that undercuts high-fee equity platforms on all major fronts: trader costs, builder access, and agentic trading. The API + MCP are already live: exposing market data, routing, and trading tools so other developers and agents can build on top of Motion’s infrastructure. The implications are massive in terms of token value accrual.
Agents in particular have no loyalty or paid distribution deals; they select the lowest-cost, highest-efficiency path that meets their requirements. Automated flow has a clear economic reason to concentrate on Motion due to the lowest fees, generating continuous buyback pressure.
This creates two reinforcing demand sources for the token. Retail and terminal users get a massive fee undercut plus the extension that lets them keep FOMO/Axiom/GMGN interfaces while routing through Motion. Builders and automated agents get a data and routing layer priced far below established options like Birdeye (whose meaningful tiers start at $99–$199+/month with compute-unit overages). Motion's $50/month full data API for builders carries a 0.1% fee on every routed trade that is used entirely for buybacks and burns; additionally, after operating costs, half of residual platform revenue follows the same path.
The major terminals remain pure equity businesses that have extracted tens of millions in fees while offering no retail ownership. Motion’s model redirects platform monetization into token burns without relying on the fees generated by the trading volume of the robinhood:0x061732dc141e0a2d37f5fa91cf5343f24064e60f token. The architecture of the protocol legitimizes undervaluation relative to competitors such as fomo, axiom, terminal/pumpfun app, and gmgn. All of those are valued at $200M-550M while offering a basic trading terminal, so you do the math on how Motion should be valued as the all-encompassing infrastructure layer of onchain/agentic trading.
