Man hits the nail in the head
Hi @lisanandy
"unprecedented" means it's never happened before.
So your statement in parliament suggesting MTA supporter ban as "unprecedented" is a lie. A lie that you know you are peddling. Lucky for you that Parliamentary privilege used mendaciously can't be held to account outside of those walls.
You talk about "dubious facts being peddled on social media", yet you're active on social media and a cursory glance at Aston Villa's social media or website would show you clearly and unambiguously that not only is there precedent but a recent precedent and a recent precedent at Villa Park.
Your mealy mouth play on words and those of politicians on all sides are mostly fact and context free, have little or no understanding of many domestic and European bans for clubs with form( you used "reprehensible" for some MTA fans) and show little or no regard for the people who's safety and security you're mandated to protect.
The British public, first and last, regardless of race, colour, creed or religion.
Here is the Aston Villa Football Club statement from the Legia Warsaw game.
Enjoy your tenure because Labour ( a party I proudly supported since teenage) will not see power again for decades.
A party that stands for nothing will be rejected by everybody and so you will be.
Mad that even Ajax are betting on us going up.. seems like an absolute no lose deal
🚨 🩺 Chuba Akpom set to undergo Birmingham medical today despite late attempt by Middlesbrough to hijack the deal.
🙋🏻♂️ Boro’s attempt came too late, according to colleague @AnthonyRJoseph.
🔵 Akpom joining #BCFC on-loan with a £7m obligatory buy if promoted.
Criminal waste of this defensive front 😩
The New York Giants are currently sacking the opposing QB on 13.3% of their plays this year 🗽
That ranks #1 for any team in any season since 2000 (1st out of 798)

15 mins of nothingness, no surprise as it comes across like they're best mates with Rooney. Missed any relevant negatives like the public slagging of players numerous times and Rooney's lack of ability to copy the old plan for a while. Club deserve to be slammed of course
Blues fans not happy with this take but it's spot on. On another day it's 7-2. Leicester are a class team but I didn't see many positives, shape and organisation was awful. A few decent touches in the final third don't cancel that out. We're so bad some are happy with a 3-2 loss

The first ever million pound player, a footballing god.
But this is the image that will always stick in my mind. Trevor was all of us on that day. 😢💔
