Homeward bound for the @NIMusicPrize tomorrow night in the Ulster Hall. Such a great spread of music nominated this year. Also looking forward to seeing some old friendly faces!
.@lukesitalsingh’s music has been a big comfort to me in what’s been a pretty sad year at times, and his new single is a beautiful thing. Although it’s also liable to induce uncontrollable bawling to those of a sensitive disposition 😊 open.spotify.com/track/2l6SW…
What an excellent, uplifting series #TheMightyRedcar was. Great people working together through some tough times.
First time I’ve worn a tux in about 10 years!
A wonderful night at the @bmi London Awards! Spirit and Spirit B-Unique picked up six awards across the board, including Song of the Year for @edsheeran's "Shape of You" (co-written by @johnnymcdaid)!
Congrats to our writers and London team!
Great show in London tonight by @brandnewfriendz. Positive, upbeat and infectious tunes. Seem like lovely people too. In such cynical times, they’re refreshing as hell.
Tonight was @mogwaiband at @meltdownfest, still sounding fresher than most 20 odd years later.
Just about coming back to earth after an almighty @snowpatrol show in Belfast last night. Jaysus it’s good to have them back. And great to see so many friendly faces too.

Tragic news about Scott Hutchison. The whole music community in Scotland was praying for a different outcome. Folks, if you are up against it, having dark thoughts, please tell someone, family, a friend or a doctor. There is always another way, though it might not seem like it. – at Glasgow, Scotland
Thanks for the nomination @MusicWeek, should be a fun night! teapaw.org/musicweek/status/96558…

Finished The Detectorists. Such a warm, gentle, funny show. The complete antithesis to the madness that surrounds us these days, we could do with more like it.
Big Monday. New @snowpatrol album announced as well as my infinitely better half @judeking83’s new company @WitcheryPics. Wine has been opened. deadline.com/2018/01/all3med…
Was discussing the greatness of this tune just yesterday. Sad news about Mark E Smith, a true original. open.spotify.com/track/3Ou0V…
New @ToKillAKing record is out today, and a fine one it is too. open.spotify.com/album/61UZc…
