I like this take. I’ve thought the “full stack” term is odd, but also feel the world is catching up in figuring out how to systemically value engineers who are specifically adept at designing and navigating complex system boundaries. “Full stack” is doing some work for us here.

Thanks to the React.createPortal react.dev/reference/react-do… we render the pip component directly in Chrome's pip DOM within the same context. This way we don't need any additional code to set up for example Redux store. It's very easy and straightforward

The new Whereby's pip gets its flexibility from @googlechrome's experimental feature called document picture in picture developer.chrome.com/docs/we… it allows putting custom html in the pip rather than putting just a <video> element.
