Giddy Stratospheres. This was the single. I think we heard a demo before we put them in the studio, or maybe not. We didn’t care really, we’d have released anything they did. Joe and I joined in for the handclaps at the start. #timstwitterlisteningparty

We went to see them at a pub in Sheffield and we offered to release their next single, and then stayed over and drank vodka. Dorian had a huge David Bailey print of Mick Jagger in his living room so don’t believe him about not liking the Stones haha #timstwitterlisteningparty

I first saw the Long Blondes after they sent us a demo on a pink CD in a pink envelope with a typewriter written letter on pink paper. The music sounded like Raincoats and Pulp. Totally sold #timstwitterlisteningparty
