I have seen a lot of #animation from all corners of the world. I have never seen anything like @LAIKAStudios #Wildwood it was more intense than I thought and not for the faint of heart. It’s going to take a while to digest the whole film. 🤯
Growing up in the 90s there wasn’t a lot of options in the theaters when it came to Animation. Directors like Ralph Bakshi, Richard Rich were small in comparison to Disney or Bluth. Today it’s impossible to imagine less than 2-3 animated movies a year. Don’t take it for granted!
I highly recommend supporting smaller studios and movies. If you can support and go see @LAIKAStudios #Wildwood opening weekend!
Growing up, access to animation information was limited or nonexistent. Any piece of information was treated as gold. given the access to everything from everywhere I hope this generation takes advantage of that. So many great things to learn.
Like or Dislike the films, Don helped reshaped our industry. When talking to students it’s difficult to give examples when they don’t know who these individuals are. I’m interested to see this.

I’m always on the lookout for inspiring animated films. There aren’t many film that push beyond the 3 act system. I saw this film a few months ago and was completely caught off guard. Both for the animation execution and storytelling, it was a breath of fresh air. Not a kid film.
