Peter Weir’s Witness” is a near-perfect film, and this was one of the best “Holy s#&!” scenes of any 1980s movie. Not a word of dialogue as we see the reveal through the eyes of Samuel, with John Book then realizing what’s happening. Incredible music by the great Maurice Jarre.
