🚨 Huge news 🚨 Every pupil in England will have access to a Mental Health Support Team (MHST) by 2029/30, the Government have announced. 60% of pupils will have access by 2026. MHSTs are a team of trained professionals in schools, who will identify and support young people with mild to moderate mental health problems. And the full rollout will cost around £49 million. We welcome this investment. Having early access to early support is essential in preventing young people from reaching crisis point. It’s a huge step in the right direction. But we know there's a lot more to making school less damaging to mental health than providing support teams. Starting with changing how schools do exams.

As part of our #Wellbeing after school club we have been focusing on the five ways to wellbeing. This we focused on ‘give to others’. We planted spider plants, decorated the pots and gifted it to someone we love ❤️
