Spoke about it with an ED reg mate of mine, at one point we had an >14 hour wait to be seen:
“They’re all someone’s person that they really care about and love. Doesn’t that make you sad?”

What an incredible team effort to open our new Emergency Department at the Ulster Hospital at 12.01am. Fantastic achievement. A new Consultant led Minor Injury Unit will also open at 8am this morning at the site of the former ED. Thank you everyone!! @healthdpt
