Two weeks after the @threejsconf in Paris, here's a little look behind the scenes 👀
We built its universe around cute sphere characters celebrating the @threejs community's diversity. They even jumped off our screens into handmade speaker badges 🪩

A lot of people asked me for the sources of the @threejsconf badge, so here they are : hervestudio.github.io/badge-…
It's a very DIY project and far from perfect, but that's also what makes it approachable: everything can be rebuilt with a soldering iron, a 3D printer and a few cheap components.
I tried to document it as clearly as possible, so you can either build it as is or use it as a starting point for something else. If anything is unclear, just write to me :)

Three.js conference was truly inspiring and so well organised. Thanks @makio64, @HerveStudio and @miskitano and all others. We are proud at Flux to have sponsored the event. We even managed to spot The @threejs logo in the wild. Tourists were lining up to see it!
There’s a whole world behind the @threejsconf 👀💙
@JulieMarting & @rbriaux from @HerveStudio spent seven months building the world around it, from the art direction and website to the social media, scenography, merch and physical experience.
And those speaker badges? Absolutely one of a kind. Romain spent around a month experimenting to make them work, before the final production turned into a family project over the summer. 🥹👏
The characters, the interactive venue map, the physical details, the badges... every piece was designed to make the conference feel like one cohesive world.
A huge bow to Hervé Studio. 🎩✨

Work that I'm probably the most proud of in my 12-year long design career: A strategic repositioning and rebranding of @Aptos, one of the world's biggest Web3 innovators, we did at @AshfallStudio last year.
