“You can tell the economic character of a nation by the way its infrastructure works.”
Powerful words from George Monbiot on BBC Question Time explaining how Wales’s economy was built to extract wealth rather than enrich its own people, and why we need the powers to put that right.

I thought Bobby Dulle was the biggest clown in USL. That is, until tonight when I experienced the @orangecountysc car parking fiasco. 45 minutes and still waiting

The most dominant 45 of the year, followed by a near monumental collapse. Still just +3.
Not too high, not too low. Three tests for Rising, first is done, now on to the next. It's as simple as that.

It could all be over as early as next week.
Let's face it, this season has been disaster after disaster. Is the club moving in the right direction in any aspect? Hard to say so.

29 years ago today, the people of Wales voted for a parliament of their own.
Since then, our nation has grown immeasurably in confidence - more powers, more responsibilities, and a greater belief in the simple principle that Wales should have a say over its own future.
That journey goes on. It is the people of Wales and the people of Wales alone who should decide on the next steps of that journey but there is a growing consensus that the UK in its current form is unjust and unsustainable.
Wales has endured a decade and more of austerity, the deep unfairness of the HS2 debacle, and years of being told we don’t deserve parity with Scotland.
That’s why with the mandate entrusted to Plaid Cymru in May, I will use every opportunity to press the case for the powers to grow our economy and help make life easier for the people we serve.
Next week, the Senedd will vote on whether Wales’s best interests are served by the UK status quo. The motion has been tabled by those who don’t believe in giving the people of Wales more say over our own future. My lifelong belief is that the future of Wales should be a matter for the people of Wales and that we should have the right to decide our own constitutional future. We will use next week’s debate to make this positive case for Wales. I hope other parties join us in defending this most fundamental principle.

The UK Government in Westminster has been put on notice today. You can dance around it, you can ignore it, you can offer up hubris and platitudinal hollowness, you can rage and rant, shout and scream but no difference will it make✍️ Alun Smith wp.me/p8Mk4U-1t6i
Here is every country that has won independence from the UK. Not a single one has ever voted to rejoin since becoming independent
Let that sink in…
🚨 NEW: The leaders of Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland say the future of their nations "belongs in the European Union" as they call for independence from the UK

This is false.
One country, the Republic of Ireland, has left the United Kingdom, the rest were never a part of that country.
Second, Anguilla and Malta both made attempts to retain British control.
