$ZETA x $PLTR x U.S. Government
On the recent @RiskReversal Podcast hosted by Dan Nathan, Zeta CEO David Steinberg talked about how their Palantir partnership extends into government.
"Although, I will say we are now doing some deals with them in government. We've been added to the FedRAMP for government contracts and that was part of our Palantir relationship and what we are calling Zeta Gov."
Zeta Marketing Platform for Government is still in the Initial Implementation phase. The next date to watch is November 1, 2026 which is listed as the service availability date.

I don’t think people realize how large of an opportunity government could be for a company like @ZetaGlobal.
The SVP of Federal Sales job posting was rather enlightening about Zeta’s ambitions on the government side.
First, they are targeting Federal, State and Local government contracts, significantly broadening the potential opportunity beyond federal agencies alone.
Let’s break down some of the possibilities.
1. Marketing, Recruitment, Enrollment & Tourism
The U.S. government spends billions of dollars annually on advertising, recruitment and public outreach.
A few examples:
According to the US Government Accountability Office, in FY 2023, the U.S. military spent ~$1.9 billion on recruitment and advertising.
GAO found some services can’t yet tie digital marketing campaigns to enlistments, which is the kind of closed-loop measurement Zeta sells commercially.
For FY 2023-24, state tourism marketing budgets totaled $928 million.
Public health and benefits outreach represents another substantial pool of spending across multiple agencies.
Zeta’s consumer identity graph, intelligence, omnichannel activation capabilities and closed-loop measurement could be a compelling fit for these programs.
Zeta can help drive military recruitment, public health education, healthcare enrollment and retention, other benefits enrollment, national park awareness and promote tourism.
2. Cross Agency Intelligence & Analytics
Government agencies generate enormous amounts of data, but turning that data into actionable intelligence can be difficult.
Athena could help agencies analyze approved datasets, identify patterns, understand program performance and generate actionable insights.
Think ZBI capabilities but for government.
I also think Senso could play a role here in helping organize documents, policies, contracts and datasets across agencies creating a shared context for information retrieval.
3. City Service Demand & Citizen Experience
Zeta’s data combined with a city's own service data, surveys and aggregated visitation signals can help local governments better understand resident needs and forecast demand.
These insights could help municipalities improve services, allocate resources and communicate more effectively with residents.
At Zeta Live 2026, Zeta demoed Athena building a "demand command" map, where a heat wave forecast shifted demand by region, combining weather, inventory and customer data with scenario planning and approval controls.
Now imagine the same architecture applied to a city facing a natural disaster emergency, forecasting the event, anticipating needs by neighborhood, pre-positioning resources, and communicating with residents through the right channels.
This is just me imagining possibilities and not necessarily something that may come to fruition.
The initial scope described in the FedRAMP service documentation is quite narrow.
However, I suspect Zeta will look to replicate its commercial land and expand playbook inside the government.
This post is really just scratching the surface of some of the possibilities.
I think this opportunity could be significantly larger than it appears at first glance.
Big post dropping tomorrow morning with my thoughts on the recent Zeta Global x FedRAMP news. The more I think about it, the more dots I connect.
It's official. $ZETA reports its Q3 2026 results on November 9, 2026.
Buckle up folks!

Some more insights into how Zeta plans to scale it's government business.
Through an old public job posting I found hiring for the Senior Vice President of Federal Sales, we can get some more clarity.
Zeta is targeting both Federal, State and Local government markets.
Taken directly from the job post:
"Zeta Global is expanding into the U.S. Federal, State, and Local Government markets with the full power of the Zeta Marketing Platform (ZMP) and Athena AI agent suite. As the Head of Federal, State, and Local Sales, you will lead this strategic growth initiative, driving new accounts in the first 18–24 months, landing multiple high-impact BPAs on our forthcoming GSA Schedule, and rapidly scaling a dedicated public-sector sales organization."
The responsibilities include building and executing a pipeline around repeatable use cases:
Military & federal civilian recruiting: All six armed services, OPM, Peace Corps, and USAID.
Public health & benefits outreach: CMS/HealthCare.gov, state Medicaid agencies, VA, and SSA.
Citizen engagement, tourism & economic development: National Park Service, state tourism boards, USDA, and SBA.
Zeta isn't targeting a one off government sales opportunity. The plan is to build a dedicated public sector business around repeatable use cases, with the potential to scale ZMP and Athena across multiple agencies.
The original job post is in the comments.

Confirmed:
$ZETA Marketing Platform for Government.
This is what we know... "Zeta Marketing Platform for Government (ZMP-GOV) is a multi-tenant SaaS marketing platform for federal agencies. The certified offering covers outbound email: audience segmentation, campaign authoring, scheduling, delivery, suppression management, and engagement reporting. Agencies load their own contact lists and content.
ZMP-GOV sends the email and reports on delivery and engagement. The service is hosted in AWS US East/West."
Dubbed: ZMP-GOV
Still describes the GSA Schedule as: "soon-to-be-awarded" 👀

CONFIRMED: Zeta has a listed government cloud offering in a formal certification pathway.
Zeta Marketing Platform for Government is listed on the official FedRAMP Marketplace under the FedRAMP 20x program.
Current status: Initial Implementation. Not yet certified.
FedRAMP is the U.S. government's framework for assessing cloud security, a key step toward making cloud services available to federal agencies.
This could open another potential market for Zeta much sooner than any of us expected.
Shout-out to @wealthmatica for always being two steps ahead.

Maybe after $ZETA Q3 earnings I'll bust these posts out. I've been slowly collecting all the haters and doubters. You may be surprised at some very large accounts who sit in this folder.
$ZETA is going to surprise many people with its Q3 earnings print.
Management already raised its 2026 revenue guide by $33M and free cash flow guide by $20M in Q2. And that was before several catalysts had a chance to fully play out.
There are so many tailwinds going into Q3 and beyond:
$PLTR joint GTM: We have at least 3 pilot deals, with an average deal sizes of $500K-$1.5M. These could become meaningful contributors as the partnership scales. I also wouldn't be surprised if they have more deals done heading into Q3 earnings.
Zeta Live 2026: Decision makers attending the event represented over $200B in annual marketing and technology spend.
"Last year, where every dollar we spent on this conference, we generated $10 in business. The first thing I want to do is get that to 12 to 14 times this year." - CEO David Steinberg
ZBI Adoption: Zeta's 4th use case is growing rapidly, expanding Zeta's opportunity beyond marketing into business intelligence and a much larger share of enterprise spending.
Political advertising: AdImpact projects a record $11.6B in 2026 election cycle ad spending. Kinetiq Political Insights puts its forecast at $12B. Political revenue can be a meaningful tailwind, particularly as spending ramps into the midterms.
This could be the most important quarterly earnings print in Zeta's history.

I have discovered another Zeta Global client.
Penske Media Corporation (PMC) is a privately held global media and publishing company that owns a portfolio of brands including Variety, Rolling Stone, Billboard, and Deadline.
I found a job posting for a Director of Growth Marketing that explicitly references Zeta Global.
One line in the responsibilities stands out:
"Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and platform partners to maximize the value of Zeta Global tools and capabilities."
PMC is specifically looking to maximize the value of Zeta's tools across its portfolio.
The role focuses on leading contact strategy across PMC's multi-brand portfolio, with an emphasis on email marketing and newsletters while expanding audience engagement across SMS, browser notifications, and paid social.
Responsibilities include:
• Developing scalable frameworks for contact cadence, segmentation, targeting, messaging, testing, and audience journeys across 20 brands.
• Optimizing 200+ newsletter programs for engagement, retention, and conversion.
• Expanding beyond email into SMS, web notifications, and paid social audience targeting.

I discovered another Zeta Global client.
EBG is a large, multi-brand e-commerce and employee-benefits business with 40,000+ corporate clients, including Fortune 500 and Fortune 1000 companies.
On its main website and individual brand privacy policy pages, EBG explicitly identifies Zeta as an advertising technology provider.
I dug deeper into its email marketing operations.
Several EBG-related job descriptions seek email marketing talent with experience in platforms including Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Zeta.
I also found historical email unsubscribe pages for three EBG brands: TicketsatWork, Working Advantage and Plum Benefits. Their URLs contain two parameters documented by Zeta:
bt_ee
bt_ts
These parameters are consistent with Zeta's email tracking infrastructure and provide additional evidence of a historical email marketing relationship.
The catch? The unsubscribe links date back to 2020 and 2021, so I can't confirm whether EBG still uses Zeta for email marketing today.
What we can verify is that Zeta is explicitly named as an advertising technology provider across EBG-related privacy policies.
Another interesting lead worth watching.

Zeta continues to take market share from Salesforce.
Look at this job post I just found for a Business Consulting and Services agency that is hiring a Business Analyst with Zeta Marketing Platform experience.
"We are working with a premier commercial real estate firm that is undertaking a significant marketing technology transformation, moving from Salesforce to the Zeta Marketing Platform (ZMP)."
The unnamed commercial real estate firm is moving completely away from Salesforce to ZMP. This isn't simply adding Zeta alongside an existing marketing platform.
@wealthmatica I challenge you to find the unnamed commercial real estate firm that is ripping out $CRM and switching to $ZETA.
