Steve Jobs would have taken a bullwhip to the engineering team for this.

Uzman diye çıkıp Sırbistan üzerine konuşanlara dikkat... Şu lafları duyduğunuz an zap yapın:
“Öğrenci hareketinin içinde birbirine taban tabana zıt siyasi görüşler var, bunlar nasıl bir arada duracak?”
“Tek ortak paydaları Vučić'i devirmek.

This 'problem' is entirely due to bad planning. 4000 cyclists use Oxford St every day. The Mayor didn't bother to provide a safe, direct alternative. And he didn't pay attention to the evidence that says cyclists & pedestrians can mix safely. trl.co.uk/uploads/trl/docume…

Amazon Zoox robotaxi, a Google Waymo car, and a Tesla Cybercab became trapped in a viral face-to-face standoff on a narrow city street in 🇺🇸Austin, Texas, showcasing a classic real-world artificial intelligence deadlock.
The vehicles met head-on on a narrow side street constricted by cars parked on both sides. Because each company programs its vehicles with proprietary decision-making algorithms, the vehicles struggled to establish right-of-way protocol without a human driver to initiate a courtesy gesture or negotiate positioning.
Eyewitnesses noted that the Waymo continued to creep aggressively forward instead of yielding. Meanwhile, the Tesla Cybercab - which runs entirely unsupervised on vision-based software without a steering wheel or pedals - was seen reversing to clear space for the others.
Observers also pointed out that Zoox’s unique bidirectional carriage design makes native reversing straightforward, though both it and the Waymo remained locked in position for several minutes before traffic could clear.
This event highlights a prominent operational barrier for autonomous fleets: multi-platform coordination. While current robotaxis excel at perception and safety when interacting with fixed obstacles or rule-following humans, they struggle when they encounter another AI entity governed by a completely different set of non-standardized routing protocols. Similar standoffs between Zoox and Waymo vehicles have previously been documented in San Francisco, indicating that “algorithm clashes” are becoming a frequent consequence of multi-fleet urban deployments.
Can the robotaxi companies program “courtesy gestures” as part of their algorithms?

When I said okay, this is a #NHS failure & I’ll come back in 4hrs they said there’s no spare appointments, I’ll have to wait for the Consultant to notify Dr to ask him to request a fresh appointment
I said let’s cut out the stupidity & you book me in
No can do

“Name & DOB”
“Darren Collins *****”
“Have you had anything to eat or drink in last 4hrs?”
“Breakfast, tea, coffee, water”
“We can’t scan you, it’s nil by mouth 4hrs before”
WTF
Letter doesn’t say that!
Refused Scan😡

its actually quite refreshing to have a PM whose embarrassing history involves raising money for charity, rather than burning £50 notes in front of homeless people and shagging pigs...

This is madness.
The Soho Society has struck again.
It is now…
Objecting to the redevelopment of an abandoned building in Soho.
Why?
It could cause “over activation”.
Twentieth Century House, right in the middle of London, vacant for 5 years.
There’s a plan to bring it back to life:
🏢 Affordable workspace for small businesses.
🛍️ New shops.
🍽️ A courtyard with bars and restaurants replacing an empty alley.
🚶♂️➡️A public walkway connecting Dean Street to Soho Square.
The Soho Society would rather it remain DERELICT.
They hate the idea that people might want to have fun in the capital’s prime nightlife district.
We disagree.
Westminster councillors have the final say. They should prove they are pro-growth & approve it.
What do you think?
