An interesting concept badly let down by weak writing, sluggish narration and poor execution.
The concept has potential, but the screenplay never builds enough intrigue or emotion. The painfully slow narration and weak scenes make the film a test of the audience’s patience rather than an engaging experience.
The writing is so underwhelming that even an actor of Fahadh Faasil’s calibre is left with very little to work with. His performance, for once, feels surprisingly ordinary. It genuinely makes you wonder what convinced Fahadh to take up this film in the first place.
With #SSRajamouli presenting the film and S.S. Karthikeya producing it, expectations were understandably high. Sadly, the film falls nowhere close to them.
A promising concept, wasted by weak writing and tedious execution. A major disappointment

ఇంట్రెస్టింగ్‌ కాన్సెప్ట్‌ను ఎంచుకున్నప్పుడు దానికి తగ్గ స్క్రీన్‌ప్లే, ఎమోషన్‌.. అన్నీంటికి మించి ఆ కథను ఎగ్జిక్యూట్‌ చేసే ప్రతిభ కలిగి ఉండాలి.. ఈ సినిమా విషయంలో కాన్సెప్ట్‌ ఓకే.. రచనా పరంగా స్ట్రాంగ్‌గా ఉంటే బెటర్‌ అవుట్‌పుట్‌ వచ్చే స్కోప్‌ ఉండేది. బట్‌ కథను అత్యంత బోరింగ్‌గా చెప్పడమే ఈ సినిమాకు ఉన్న అతిపెద్ద మైనస్‌.
స్లో నేరేషన్‌.. వీక్‌ సీన్స్‌.. వల్ల ఎక్కడా కూడా సినిమా ఇంట్రెస్టింగ్‌గా అనిపించదు సరికదా.. ప్రేక్షకుడి ఓపికకు పరీక్ష పెట్టేలా ఉంది.
ఇలాంటి బలహీనమైన సన్నివేశాలు ఫహాద్‌ ఫాజిల్‌ లాంటి ఆర్టిస్ట్‌ని కూడా ఏమీ చేయలేని పరిస్థితిలోకి నెట్టేసింది. అసలు ఫహాద్‌ ఈసినిమాను ఎలా ఒప్పుకున్నాడు అనే ఆశ్చర్యం.. అతను ఈ సినిమా చేయాల్సినంత కంటెంట్‌ ఇందులో ఏముంది అనే సందేహం సినిమా చూసిన ప్రతి ఒక్కరిలో కలుగుతుంది.తొలిసారిగా ఈ సినిమాలో ఫహాద్‌ ఫాజిల్‌ లాంటి గొప్ప నటుడి నటన కూడా ఎంతో సాధారణ స్థాయిలో కనిపించింది. ఈ క్రెడిట్‌ కూడా ఈ టీమ్‌దే...
రాజమౌళి లాంటి సక్సెస్‌ఫుల్‌ దర్శకుడు సమర్పణలో ఆయన తనయుడు కార్తీకేయ నిర్మాతగా వచ్చిన ఈ సినిమాపై అంచనాలు తారాస్థాయిలో ఉంటాయి. ఆ ఎక్స్‌పెక్టేషన్స్‌కు చాలా దూరంలో ఆగిపోయిన ఈ సినిమా పూర్తిగా డిజప్పాయింట్‌ చేస్తుంది! తొలిసారిగా ఈ సినిమాలో ఫహాద్‌ ఫాజిల్‌ లాంటి గొప్ప నటుడి నటన కూడా ఎంతో సాధారణ స్థాయిలో కనిపించింది.

కేజీఎఫ్‌ లాంటి బ్యాక్‌డ్రాప్‌లో ఓ మాస్‌ హిస్టారికల్‌ ఫిల్మ్‌ తీయాలని చేసే ప్రయత్నంలో టోటల్‌గా ది ప్యారడైజ్‌ టీమ్‌ తడబడింది.. బోల్తాపడింది.. ఆసక్తికరమైన ప్రారంభంతో.. ఏదో వండర్‌ క్రియేట్‌ చేయబోతున్నారనే భావనలో ఉన్న ఆడియన్స్‌కు ఆ తరువాత వచ్చే బోరింగ్‌ సన్నివేశాలతో విసుగు తెప్పించారు.. ఓపికకు పరీక్ష పెట్టారు.
ఫస్టాఫ్‌లో ప్రామిసింగ్‌ ఓపెనింగ్‌.. జస్ట్‌ ఓకేలా అనిపించే ఇంటర్వెల్‌ బ్యాంగ్‌ తప్ప ఏమీ లేదు.. సెకండాఫ్‌లో ఇక కథ డైలామాలో పడుతుంది. కథను ఎటు తీసుకెళ్లాలో తెలియని అయోమయంలో దర్శకుడు బోరింగ్‌ నెరేషన్‌.. వీక్‌ రైటింగ్‌.. ఎమోషన్‌లెస్‌ సీన్స్‌తో నింపేశాడు.
సినిమాలో ప్రతి యాక్షన్ సన్నివేశం ఎంతో ఫోర్స్‌డ్‌గా అనిపిస్తుంది. సన్నివేశాల్లో బలం లేకపోవడంతో #Nani పర్‌ఫార్మెన్స్‌కు వంకలు పెట్టడానికి లేకపోయినా...కూడా జడలు పాత్రకు ఫిట్‌ కాలేదనే భావన కలిగిస్తుంది.
#Anirudh పాటలు బాగున్నాయి. అయితే బీజీఎమ్‌ పెద్దగా ప్లస్‌ కాలేదు. లౌండ్‌ సౌండింగ్‌.. మిక్సింగ్‌లో లోపాల వల్ల కొన్ని డైలాగులు స్పష్టంగా వినిపించవు.
దర్శకుడిగా #Odelasrikanth పూర్తిస్థాయిలో విఫలమయ్యాడు. టోటల్‌గా ఈ ది ప్యారడైజ్‌ రక్తపాతంతో,.. హింసతో.. అడుగడుగునా శవాలతో నిండిపోయి ప్రేక్షకులను భయపెట్టింది. ప్రేక్షకులను ఆకట్టుకోవడంలో ది కాస్టియెస్ట్‌ ఫెయిల్యూర్‌గా నిలిచింది!

In its attempt to make a mass historical film with a KGF like backdrop, The Paradise team completely loses its way.
The film starts on an interesting note and initially creates the impression that something spectacular is in store. But what follows is a series of boring sequences that test the audience’s patience.
The first half has a promising opening and a just-okay interval bang, but little else to offer. Things get even more confused in the second half. The director seems unsure about where to take the story, resulting in dull narration, weak writing and emotionless scenes.
Almost every action sequence feels forced. Nani’s performance itself leaves little room for complaint, but with the scenes lacking impact, even he doesn’t seem entirely convincing as Jadal.
Anirudh’s songs are good, but the BGM doesn’t add much. The loud sound design and issues with mixing also make some dialogues difficult to hear clearly.
As a director, #SrikanthOdela falls short of expectations.
Overall, The Paradise is packed with bloodshed, violence and bodies at every turn, but fails to engage the audience. A costly disappointment!
#EPIC Movie gives the feeling of attempting an exam without fully preparing either the syllabus or the subject. Perhaps the confidence is that even if the First Semester does not work, there is always the supplementary exam (Final Semester)

జెన్‌జీ అనగానే కోలీవింగ్‌. లివ్‌ఇన్‌ రిలేషన్‌ షిప్‌లో ఉండటం, వారి లైఫ్‌స్టయిల్‌, వాళ్ల బందాలు, గందరగోళ సమస్యల్ని సృష్టించడం.. వాటి చుట్టు తమకు కావాల్సిన కన్వీనెంట్‌ కథతో, సన్నివేశాలతో సినిమాను తెరకెక్కించడం. ఇలాంటి జాబితాలో తెరకెక్కిన సినిమానే 'ఎపిక్‌': ఫస్ట్‌ సెమిస్టర్‌. ఫస్టాఫ్‌ ఓ మోస్తరు ఆసక్తి కలిగించిన ఈ సినిమా సెకండాఫ్‌లో గాడీ తప్పింది. ఇక మొదటి నుంచి ప్రచారంలో భాగంగా ఈ సినిమా పతాక సన్నివేశాలు అసంపూర్తిగా ఉంటాయని మేకర్స్‌ చెప్పినట్లుగానే ఈ చిత్రం క్లైమాక్స్‌ను అసంపూర్ణంగా వదిలేశారు. ఇది ప్రేక్షకులకు కన్వీన్సింగ్‌గా అనిపించదు. ఈ అంశం కూడా సినిమాకు మైనస్‌గానే మారింది. ఆదిత్య, కడలి పాత్రల్లో #AnandDevarakonda #Vaishnavichaitanya ది బెస్ట్ పెర్ఫార్మన్స్ ఇచ్చారు. ఇద్దరు ఎంతో సహజంగా నటించారు.
ఈ రోజుల్లో చాలా మంది యువతీ యువకులు చాలా ప్లాన్‌డ్‌గా మెచ్యూర్టీ తో ఆలోచిస్తున్నారు. జెన్‌జీ సినిమా అంటే బోల్డ్‌ సీన్లు, విలాసాలు, ఇంటిమేట్‌ సన్నివేశాలేనా అనిపిస్తుంది? ఈ రోజుల్లో ఇవన్నీ కామనే అనే చెప్పడమే ఈ తరహా కథల ఉద్దేశామా? అనే ఆలోచన కలుగుతుంది. ఓవరాల్‌గా ఈ 'ఎపిక్‌' ఫస్ట్‌ సెమిస్టర్‌ సిలబస్‌ను, సబ్జెక్ట్‌ సరైన రీతిలో ప్రీపేర్‌ కాకుండానే ఎగ్జామ్‌ను రాసిన ఫీలింగ్‌ కలిగింది. ఈ సెమిస్టర్‌ మిస్‌ అయితే సప్లిమెంటరి (సెకండ్‌ సెమిస్టర్‌) రాసుకోవచ్చులే అనే కాన్ఫిడెన్స్‌ కాబోలు!
