Don’t forget the mandatory 150 page pre-reading in form of the QUIC spec 🤣

At #NodeJSInteractive the #nodejs TSC members talk about how they keep up, their views on key strategic initiatives, what's up in the project and what they are most excited about going forward.

Pffft. Burgermeister is the only thing I’m willing to eat. Hope they had a chance to open a location in Montreal 😂

Took a lot of work to get here but proud we finally get to unveil the first annual Prawn Day. blog.postmates.com/postmates…
Will share later today. It’s also possible this was tied to something else in the code I was modifying... or perhaps I hit an edge case.

Performance of private class fields isn’t great. When I benchmarked, they were slower than symbols and both are much slower than regular properties.
If we’re using them in core, might be worth flagging for the V8 team so they have time to optimize before QUIC ships.

I haven’t looked yet but even so, judging by the title, I would assume that supporting `defaultProps` by using `infer` probably creates some issues when using HOCs. I would guess that react-redux types can’t support both usecases... unless someone improves TS itself.

Depends on what you want and how long you’re staying. I like Uehara and Tomigaya as a base. Good transit, good coffee and close to Yoyogi park. Nakameguro is also nice.
DM me if you have any questions or want some tips! 😊

Proud to share Postmates Party. The team has worked really hard on this. 🎉

Yea, I over-simplified. Would require libuv changes to get a true version of it and it would also not be very useful on a busy process.
