Few things restore dignity and protect life like access to clean water. Seeing Rotary turn this basic need into reality for communities in Nansana is truly inspiring.
Proud of Rotary Club of Kiwenda I @rckiwenda for delivering this USD 40,000 solar-powered WASH project. With Kasozi Health Centre III serving 5,000 people, 60 students at the Skilling Institute every quarter and neighbouring families benefiting, the impact is far-reaching.
Thank you to Rotary Club of Birmingham and Engineers Without Borders East Africa. This is the power of partnerships and Rotary in action

Makerere University Rotary Peace Centre @MakerereRotary sits atop a hill in Kampala, but this Centre represents much more than its geography, it represents purpose. Here, experienced mid-career professionals from public service, civil society, and international NGOs come together to hone their skills and tackle real-world challenges.
The goal? To build peace not just as a vague ideal, but as a practical craft for Africa and the world beyond.
Fully funded by Rotary @Rotary , the fellowship has steadily grown into a powerhouse since welcoming its inaugural class in February 2021. Across 12 cohorts, it has supported 223 fellows from 52 countries representing immense global reach and real-world impact.
The Africa Peace Concert @apconcert is one of the primary vehicles we use to raise funds for the Centreโs ongoing activities.
We invite you to join us for the 6th edition of the Africa Peace Concert on November 27, 2026, held during the All Africa Zone Institute @RotaryAfrica_ . Our fellows are actively participating in Mediation Training Week, gaining practical knowledge and skills in conflict resolution, negotiation and peaceful dispute management under the guidance of Dr. Joy Mbambu from the ACA Dispute Resolution Centre.
The training provides a valuable opportunity for fellows to deepen their understanding of mediation, appreciate alternative dispute resolution mechanisms and develop the skills needed to become effective peacebuilders in their communities.
