No fan base on God’s green earth deserved a piping hot plate of karma more than these miserable, pompous, entitled, and delusional JMU frauds. Tell Billy we wish him a safe trip back to Harrisonburg! He hasn’t replied recently. It’s Great To Be A Mountaineer!

Comments like this are genuinely hilarious because virtually every JMU fan is clueless about how their athletics department operates. Appalachian State generates 60% more revenue than JMU! “yOu ShOuLd ThAnK uS LiL bRo” In 2025: JMU’s budget was $78M Appalachian’s was $57M JMU’s revenue was $18M (good for SBC!) Appalachian’s revenue was $28M (best in SBC) JMU’s subsidies? $60M (~75% of total budget) Appalachian’s subsidies? $29M (~50% of total budget) At the end of the day, JMU has a $30M additional subsidy income advantage over Appalachian. Does that mean Appalachian makes the CFP with an extra $30M ? NO! Money alone doesn’t mean competence. JMU is making better decisions with their income than most schools by far. And before you let someone convince you that part of that $60M in JMU subsidies goes to fund the marching band or cheerleaders, it doesn’t. The $60M is specifically for JMU athletics. And before any Appalachian fans get on their high horse about not burdening the student body with punitive student fees… the only reason Appalachian’s athletic fee is only $840 (compared to JMU’s $2,500) is because in order to increase the fee, the UNC System has to approve it. Otherwise you can guarantee the fees would be higher than $840. The state of VA does not have this restriction which is why JMU and ODU have such high subsidy income.

I guess to App State JMU would seem like the Rockefellers

Refs just gifted the Eagles 7 points • Non-holding call on Trevis Gipson • Giving PHI a catch on a drop • Called PI for nothing

Awful call to gift them a touchdown - clearly we’re playing against Eagles + the refs today

I also heard, and I couldn’t believe it, “BYU’s stepping up in class!” Really? Wanna compare their schedule to @NDFootball really? I respect Chris a ton and he may not even understand how that landed, but as someone that’s seen a lotta @Big12Conference 🏈that’s simply absurd.
Chris Fowler said “It’s not the SEC environments we saw earlier today but still great none the less” after the first BYU drive in case you want to know if they are in the SEC’s pocket. Or I guess if the SEC is in theirs.

Let me tell you something. The little things matter. Look at this App State sideline. It’s a tight conference game, against a rival, we just had a big TFL and we got one guy showing emotion?! These are the little things that defined App State football culture. Come on!!
