Notice on Echo Protocol Wind-Down Dear Echo Users, After nearly two years of building and operating Echo, we have made the difficult decision to wind down the protocol and conclude its operations. Over the past two years, we have been grateful for the trust, participation, and support of our community, partners, and users who have helped shape Echo along the way. The wind-down will therefore proceed according to the following arrangements. 1. Changes Already in Effect - Lending to stop accepting new deposits and new borrows, and related interest accrual has been stopped. - Strategy to stop accepting new deposits. - LSD to stop accepting new staking. - Repayment, withdrawal, and necessary liquidation for assets will remain available. 2. What Users Can Do Now From the date of this announcement, users are encouraged to take the following actions: Lending users: repay outstanding debt, release collateral, and withdraw available assets. Strategy users: initiate exits as soon as possible and complete claims when eligible. LSD users: continue to use the existing unstake and claim flow. Users holding aBTC who wish to redeem on B² Network: continue using the Aptos-to-B² Bridge. Borrower deadline: All outstanding borrowers are required to repay their loans by November 14 2026. Any outstanding loan that has not been repaid by this date may be subject to liquidation of the associated collateral, with the proceeds used to repay outstanding obligations to lenders accordingly. Please note that LSD and Strategy depend on the timing of each staking/unstaking request. Actual claim availability is determined by these factors. After November 14 2026, Echo will cease operations. The following services will remain available: Aptos-to-B² Bridge redemption. 3. Key Timelines 19 Oct 2026, 00:00 UTC — Lending, LSD, and Strategy withdrawal and repayment process begin.. 19 Nov 2026, 23:59 UTC — Final deadline for borrower repayments and withdrawal and unstaking. Unpaid loans will be subjected to collateral liquidation. After 19 Nov 2026, 23:59 UTC — Remaining positions proceed to liquidation and/or settlement as applicable. Collateral Liquidation and Distribution — Dates and final completion time TBC. Outstanding collateral will be liquidated after the borrower repayment deadline, with proceeds distributed toward repayment of outstanding lender obligations as applicable. Please ignore any request to transfer funds or sign privately to any wallet address. Further updates will be published through Echo’s official channels.
