Hyper Vyper demo is live in Steam Next Fest this week! Here's the gameplay trailer for the big update that dropped just in time for the Fest - the map and look has been totally rebuilt. Getting close to the vision for the game, it'd mean the world to an indie dev if you played.
As over the top as this is, if you could avoid an accident because your car can fly...err jump really high. Why not 😯😯
Arenas update today. A few callouts:
First time we're really introducing Ranked Leaderboards in-world. We've had some similar-ish things in years past. Expect to see ideas like this show up elsewhere.
In overtime, the cube storm dynamically moves to a new closure point.
Optimizations. We made some gains in optimization and are mitigating others by lowering player counts. We identified a number of others (even impacting BR/Reload) that were discovered during our Arenas deep dive. Team is working on those for future updates, potential gains across the ecosystem.
Points-based matchmaking will be enabled in upcoming tournaments. This is a huge one, previously limiting more tournament formats.
Also, shout out to the players testing Fight Nights! You know who you are!!

Arenas Boxfights new season launch has some significant changes to Overtime. This will have a major impact on Tournament play (but it's also in Ranked and Unranked).
