Stellar Blade on Switch 2 renders at 30 and generates the frames in between to hit 60. Looks smooth, but the controls still feel like 30, and demo players said parries and perfect dodges were where it hurt.
The demo didn't let you turn it off.
Stellar Blade Complete Edition needs a US eShop balance on a US Switch 2 account. Nintendo eShop US cards, entered with no spaces before or after: zurl.co/y7ZyE
Xbox just put a meter on the cloud. Game Pass Ultimate now streams 15 hours a month, and "play anywhere" has quietly become a phone plan with a data cap. Our call: if you install your games, nothing changed. If you mostly stream, Ultimate isn't the deal it was.
Monthly cloud hours from November: Ultimate 15, Premium 10, Essential 5. Extra time starts at $3.99 for 10 hours (introductory price). Games installed on a console or PC have no cap, and Microsoft says the change hits about 4% of subscribers.
Moving the game you stream most onto a console so it runs off the meter? A card in another currency means your bank converts the price. Xbox USA codes from AR-PAY, $5 to $100, add USD to your Microsoft account for eligible games. Pick your region: zurl.co/UFfWX
For 11.11 shopping on Amazon and noon, choose the exact item first and compare the final total before choosing a gift card.
11.11 is also called Singles’ Day. It centres on 11 November, but each retailer sets its own sale window and conditions.

World of Warcraft: Forever is the most interesting thing Blizzard has made in years, and it costs nothing on top of the sub you already pay. Vanilla Azeroth, expanded and rebuilt. Our call: keep your Game Time, skip the upgrade packs. The world is the product.
Forever launches 4 Nov at 3pm PST (23:00 UTC), so 5 Nov across most of Europe and Asia. It's included with any WoW subscription or Game Time, with no separate box price, and the upgrade packs are optional. The level cap stays at 60.
Coming back for Forever without a sub? Battle net Balance can't pay a recurring WoW subscription, but it does buy Game Time. Blizzard USA codes from AR-PAY, $20 or $50, add USD balance to your WOW account. US-currency accounts only zurl.co/Je9aU
Ocarina of Time on Switch 2 is the version where Link finally jumps when you tell him to. In 1998 the game did it for you at every ledge, and that's one of the reasons people who try it today bounce off.
Our favourite bit for anyone new: forget a song, hum it into the mic and Link plays it.
First time playing Ocarina? Nintendo eShop US cards from $10 to $50 work on US Switch 2 accounts for the digital edition: zurl.co/8yRLr
Zelda: Ocarina of Time, out tomorrow, $59.99 on the US eShop. The best-value must-buy of the holiday, two weeks before GTA asks for $80.
$50 + $10 Nintendo eShop US codes from AR-PAY = $60, 1¢ left. Codes add funds to your eShop balance.

WoW Forever's Epic Pack comes with 30 days of game time from launch. The first raids unlock on December 9. Do the maths and your month ends first.
Worth knowing: Forever is included with any active sub or game time.
WoW Forever on a US account: a $20 Blizzard Balance US card covers a month of game time ($14.99).

Apple Arcade can serve you and five family members, but six seats do not mean six players. Judge value by who will actually play this month. Family access is shared; your Apple Account balance is not. Count the likely players before renewing.
Apple Arcade can serve you and five family members, but six seats do not mean six players. Judge value by who will actually play this month. Family access is shared; your Apple Account balance is not. Count the likely players before renewing.
Our view: Judge family-subscription value by active players, not the maximum number of available seats. Sharing broadens access but does not make an unused subscription worthwhile.
