In a season where City are facing a huge points deduction and potential relegation, somehow United seem to be in a worse position.
Thoroughly entertaining how much of a shambles they are.
Really poor result and completely our own doing. Two mistakes from two common culprits in Donnarumma and Guehi.
I think both need to be dropped. Donnarumma won't be, but a massive case for Khusanov to replace Guehi.
Maresca to blame, too. Midfield was wrong.
We're seeing Donnarumma drop sub par performances on a weekly basis now.
His shot stopping is no longer compensating for his weaknesses in other departments.
Backed the signing initially, but he's becoming a liability. And now that Trafford's gone we have no real replacement.
Excited by how attacking we've gone, but a couple of concerns:
- Bouaddi deserved that start in the middle next to Anderson.
- Khusanov at RB doesn't work.
Hoping to see a Bouaddi and Anderson double pivot tomorrow. Worked so nicely in the second half against PSG, but does leave a choice between Foden who deserves a start, Cherki who deserves a start, and Enzo who you know Maresca won't drop!
I've seen a fair bit of Villa this season and it looks like they've picked up a serious player in Manzambi.
2 goals and 2 assists already in his first 4 games. If he continues at this rate I think he'll be picked up by a top European club in the near future.
'The Man City connection'.
Absolutely shameless.
Who’s to blame at Manchester United? Carrick, Ratcliffe, the players, the Man City connection or the Glazers….?

BREAKING: Fabian Hürzeler is not interested in leaving Brighton for Manchester United.
Hürzeler one of the names appreciated in case Michael Carrick departs.
Julian Nagelsmann also viewed as one of the leading contenders.

Kyle Walker doesn't cover himself in glory but there's an irony in football twitter asking someone to behave like a consummate professional.
Walker signed for City to earn £ and win trophies. No allegiance other than his contract. We can't expect everyone to love the club.
And it's clear he's not really that arsed about the club/fans. After all, part of the fan base treated him pretty abhorrently in his final season.
I think I remember him tweeting something about us when he was at Spurs, too.

Cesc Fabregas Como have made us look like a team who had won a RAFFLE to be in the Champions league.
At times it looked as though Como had 12 players on the pitch.
We were TOOTHLESS in attack
NO running power in the team
An INABILITY to press Como
NO patterns in possession
A lot of credit has to go to Cesc and the way he has built this team & then you see the way he has got his ideas into this team.
Everyone knows their jobs and are dialled in in and out of possession.
They play to teammates under pressure - a great example of trust in one another.
But that is no excuse for us, we were poor on the night and look a team on zero confidence right now - so much to do to turn this around....and I haven't even got onto the injuries! 🤬
The difference in budgets certainly wasn’t reflected in the difference between the two teams on the pitch!
Nico Paz - lovely footballer btw.

Honestly think United get a draw tonight and potentially go on to win the whole competition if it weren't for City's charges.
If you've been to Como you'll have an idea of just how cool it would be to be a fan/season ticket holder. No place like it, and Fabregas has done an awesome job.
A big couple of months for Foden with Semenyo unavailable.
Prior to last season, Foden was within our top 3 goalscorers for the last three seasons.
We need to replace Semenyo's output and last night proves Foden has the ability to do that.
He'll never get a better chance.
Is that ex-Real Madrid Jovic starting for Athens? Wow.
The guy is only 28.
These Frankfurt strikers need to be considered carefully before buying. Him, Marmoush and Kolo Muani have all tanked considerably since their big moves.
