The Bank for International Settlements today published a speech from Singapore's central bank (MAS) referencing Global Layer One (GL1).
The initiative's June 2026 technical documentation features Chainlink's compliance technology.
GL1 participants include JPMorgan, HSBC, Standard Chartered, MUFG, Banque de France and MAS.
MAS envisions a network of networks connecting distributed ledgers and traditional financial infrastructure to support regulated cross-border transactions in tokenized assets.
MAS reports that a growing number of major DLT networks are adopting GL1 standards.
The initiative's white paper identifies Chainlink's Automated Compliance Engine (ACE) as an implementation example, including its Policy Manager, Compliance Rules Engine and Cross-Chain Identity (CCID) capabilities.
