Oiden - same use as in 1 Corinthians 2: “And I, when I came to you, brothers, did not come proclaiming to you the testimony of God with lofty speech or wisdom. For I decided to know nothing among you except Jesus Christ and him crucified.” 1 Corinthians 2:1-2 ESV It’s about revealing information, not cognitive knowledge. All you have to do it read the parable in Mark that follows Jesus’ words about the hour. There’s also some Jewish marriage customs involved in it as well. In Jewish culture in was always the Father who told everyone when the marriage was going to happen.

A lot of this biphobia also seems to be rooted in straight women wanting their male partners to strictly adhere to a masculine gender role in a relationship and I find this perhaps more concerning than the homophobic aspect.
