Imagine investing in SPCX and instead of space exploration and AI, you get AT&T.

Effective Immediately, all organizations using PHP for their systems are advised to be prepared for an update addressing two critical vulnerabilities. PHP is widely used for web applications. These vulnerabilities often provide a direct path to the server's file system or database. If an immediate update is not feasible, it is recommend that organizations take the system offline until it can be fully mitigated. NSA will follow up shortly with more specific guidance.
If Neverland chooses to go multichain and support Robinhood or Base, this will be a net win for Monad. This dapp is made for retail users and Monad needs more retail eyes on DeFi, NFTs, and memes. It’s the lifeblood of any chains culture.
Just two weeks ago, Neverland was down to $12M TVL. The protocol has since recovered to $19.91M (with nearly $12M in active loans). Protocol revenue will rise for the third straight week, increasing the USDC rewards to veDUST holders.
This growth means the protocol pays out its entire market cap to veDUST holders and LP suppliers in only 14 weeks, based on current DUST prices. You read that right.

275,899 DUST has been burned this week.
✦ 42,069 DUST per NGV-02: Week 17
✦ 1,060 DUST from Nadette's Shop

Total DUST burned to date: 3,155,452
FSD V14.3 Lite just confirmed everything I need to know about AI3.
This build lacks decisional confidence and steering smoothness seen in V14.3 on AI4. It drives marginally better than V12.
Every single older Tesla will need to have a hardware retrofit to AI4.

Today, Neverland surpassed 3,000,000 DUST burned. This represents 3% of the total supply that has been permanently removed.
Other veTokens:
❌ Unlimited supply
❌ Reward lockers with more of the same token, diluting their holdings
DUST:
✅ Capped supply
✅ In-house burn mechanisms to reduce supply
✅ Rewards users with USDC
DUST’s emitted supply mix:
✦ 19.7% circulating
✦ 61.5% locked
✦ 18.8% burned

You can loop PT-AUSD via Aave on Pendle but using cross collateral, or you can do the same on @Neverland_Money using AUSD.
Just saying.

Happy Crypto Security Sunday!
15. Use a password manager.
Reusing passwords across multiple accounts is one of the easiest ways to put yourself at risk. If just one website suffers a data breach, attackers can use those stolen credentials to try accessing your email, exchanges, and other accounts.
A trusted password manager generates and securely stores strong, unique passwords for every account. It can also help protect against phishing by recognizing legitimate website addresses and avoiding autofill on fake lookalike sites. Protect your password manager with a strong master password and 2FA, and never store your wallet’s recovery phrase or private keys inside it.
The majority of retail crypto wallets made for phones do not store private keys in a phones Secure Enclave.
There may be some software wallets that can directly interact with the enclave, but people using an iPhone with MetaMask or Rabby are trusting their private key to device storage. It’s encrypted, but still stored in device memory and secured by a biometric. The key is decrypted in RAM and vulnerable to potential malware. If you airgap the phone as a dedicated device, this might suffice for some people.

checklist from this week for those who haven't been following:
1. buy a hard wallet
2. don't buy a hard wallet
3. have multiple signers
4. make sure none of the signers ever actually sign
5. move your funds to a cold wallet
6. don't move them there immediately though, read the news first
7. monitor 20,000 of satoshi's wallets with 50btc each
8. shard your keys
9. don't shard your keys, shard the game
10. say no to ECDSA, unless she's 400 bytes.
11. hash-based > lattice-based > seed oils
12. confirm your multisig signatures offchain.
13. offchain is the new onchain.
One security tip.
When you buy a hardware wallet (or download a new software wallet), leave it for a couple of weeks before moving any meaningful amount of funds to it.
And follow the news in those weeks (and after), for hacks, etc. Hardware can be tempered with, software official website can be hacked. Self custody comes with extra responsibilities.

Stay SAFU!
And things are getting even weirder
A clear case is not decoration. It lets you inspect a COLDCARD for a component swap or implant. The tamper-evident bag, anti-phishing words, dual Secure Elements and verified firmware add independent checks. That’s defense in depth.

At this point, might as well just keep your shit on Coinbase
This story just keeps getting wilder.
Apparently, this is how Ledger users had their wallets drained today:
> A chinese firm bought Cryptobilis, an authorized Ledger reseller
> This firm reportedly modified the Ledger devices they sell and added spyware
> The original owner of Cryptobilis never announced publicly that he sold Cryptobilis as he was under NDA, so nobody suspected anything
> Today the guys who bought Cryptobilis drained the funds from the wallets sold in the past months
Dozens of millions of dollars have been lost because of this.
Bad actors are getting increasingly more advanced.
When you buy a hardware wallet, please do it from the official website to minimize the risk of this happening.

Left to right: e-SIM, CPU with firmware able to recognize Ledger's font as shown on screen and capture words as they appear on screen, and a LTE module that can connect once the seed has been fully captured.
The story behind this is an interesting commentary on credit, where you can get it, and how crypto allows you the ultimate flexibility.
My kid is an aspiring musician and was moving up from the student level instrument to a more advanced one. I had three options:
1. Pay for it in cash (sell BTC to raise the funds)
2. Buy now pay later loan
3. Crypto backed loan
I chose the third option and here's why. Many of these retail establishments push you into a "buy now pay later" loan for large expense items with repayment terms over 2 years. They even tease a very low or zero interest rate. What they don't tell you is a 40% APY rate is hiding behind the teaser deal -- one mistake, one late payment, even if it's the FINAL payment, they could charge you 40% APY on the ENTIRE original loan balance. Read the terms carefully before you accept one of these deals!
Instead, I supplied cbBTC to Neverland, borrowed the USDC I needed, sent it back to Coinbase, and paid off the credit card charge. I lobbied for the interest rate curve change on Neverland because the previous incentive structure required users to sell DUST to offset the cost of their loan. Retail users doing simple crypto backed loans will go to a competitor instead of dealing with DUST volatility.
It was a gamble for the team to change the curve and reduce the reserve factor, but it made Neverland an ideal place for its best use case -- retail users needing crypto backed loans. Now those same users can access cheaper borrowing, earn DUST incentives on their collateral, and start owning a little piece of Neverland by doing it.
Sometimes getting back to basics is what a protocol needs. Give users a great option to supply a directional token like cbBTC, WBTC, WETH, and/or MON/LST and take a loan against it. Give them competitive borrowing interest rates.
The team listened and delivered.
