I’m doing this today. Gemini fucking sucks
I replaced the Google Assistant with OpenCode
GPT Live
Connected to all my devices on my mesh
'How long till my gf gets home' (tv -> mesh -> macbook -> find my -> maps ETA -> answer)
'Hey what sessions are running on my Windows laptop rn?'
'Start a 5 min timer then text me when its done'
(so I can take something off the stove from the other room)
Can you see what is happening yet?
For the love of god please stop outreaching with a slop written email, with a slop resumed attached linking to a slop portfolio website. It takes less than a day to put some personality in your stuff.
Come join the review floor
Greptile has raised a $50M Series B led by Menlo Ventures. The round values the company at $750M.
Greptile reviews and tests more than 1% of all PRs opened on GitHub every day. Thousands of engineering teams including Nvidia, Coinbase, Decagon, and Vanta use Greptile as their independent and central validation layer.
Fewer than 50 people, we are a small, talent-dense team of engineers and researchers in a quiet corner of San Francisco. If you’re interested in joining us, we’d love to hear from you.
Many cool speakers are in the pipeline. Don’t miss the next one
Missed the Blackboard Lectures on Tap? We got you.
Thanks to everyone who came out, and to @fat, @hahnbeelee, @leylndd, and James for the talks.

Google Maps has become an insane piece of garbage software. It keeps providing vibe answers when searching for stuff. On a regular basis when I search for “parking” I get result for parks. I wish companies stopped touching software that just worked.
Apex saved my marriage
Today we’re releasing new Greptile review tiers: Plus and Apex.
Higher tiers have more tools and subagents, can run tasks in parallel, better understand the PR, and catch more bugs.
- Base: Thorough code review with full codebase context.
- Plus: A deeper review for PRs that need extra scrutiny.
- Apex: Our most intensive review for large, complex PRs.
I think companies might have to bring back in person waiting in line. Buying low stock items online is basically impossible cause you're going against 1000 ai agents
Pull up
We're starting a lecture series at The Interval called Blackboard Lectures on Tap.
Developers, founders, and researchers can share what they’re working on, thinking about, or know way too much about.
First edition tomorrow, Sept 22, 6:30pm with:
@fat: Reinventing the wheel and the capacity for work
@hahnbeelee: Rebuilding docs infrastructure to a 100% cache hit rate
James Wu: Scaling agentic workloads on Kubernetes with MicroVMs
Come learn something, ask questions, stay for drinks.
stacked PRs on @github are extremely broken. they just go into merging state, spinner for 2 minutes and then go back to having a merge button. You only get an unhelpful "could not merge" stack message that gives no extra context.
believe it or not this is a successful purchase screen when you buy directly from @Logitech. please be better
basically Palantir for killing bugs
introducing greptile security agent
it combines static analysis, sca, and ai agents to efficiently catch security flaws before merge.
why did we build this?
- coding agents have caused the frequency of security incidents to explode
- neither agents nor deterministic methods alone are sufficient for detecting vulnerabilities
- security review is best done in conjunction with regular code review because many vulns are really just logical issues with security consequences
security review is turned on by default for free for all greptile users.

introducing model inversion
greptile detects if your PR was generated using GPT or Claude models, and uses the other model for review.
rohan and rodrigo from our research team share why we do this:
Got to meet the goat @ThePrimeagen can confirm he’s as cool irl if not more than online
