This tweet struck a chord with me, and while I don't often get personal on the Tweeters, given the point made here, I feel it's important. So here we go. Happy #pridemonth. teapaw.org/jpbrammer/status/87146… Confession: When I was younger, I never really bought into the idea of "pride."

Counterpoint: do not make my phone ring or buzz with unsolicited political messages
The best antidote to cynicism is doing the work. Knock doors. Phonebank. It’s a slog, but it really grounds you.

Step 1: Do a "it's not comedy, as I'm very offended by it, how is that a joke?" Step 2: Delaminate after being informed that there is an entire theory about the comedic value of transgressive statements without a punchline, post ncreasingly deranged nonsense. Step 3: ??

This reminds me of a lawyer joke: A Chicago lawyer was running late and walking on Clark Street heading to his office when he crossed paths with a schnockered homeless man. You could smell him through a hedge. The homeless man got close, real close to the lawyer ‘till he was almost touching him and he looked at the lawyer, grabbed him by the coat smearing his smell all over him and said “You steal from the poor!” In a barely intelligible slur. The lawyer cocked his head and squeezed his eyes indignant and cried back “You got me all wrong, buddy, I steal from the rich. I steal from the rich!” And he scrambled slip-loose and onward to his office. When he got there he was sweating through the pits of his suit and when he went to open the door it was locked. He reached into his pocket for the key, but it wasn’t there. He knocked, knocked, knocked, and his partnered opened the door saying “Partner, it’s far too early, even on a Sunday, for you to be THIS schnockered.”

You put in *Glee* as a "sitcom" (it is not) and left out Married With Children? Is this account based in Oklahoma or something?
What is the best sitcom set in the Midwest?
