What will it take to reduce maternal and child mortality?
It will take all of us.
To our government and policymakers: make maternal and child health a sustained priority.
Invest in the systems, policies, and resources that ensure every mother and child can access the care they need, when they need it.
To our doctors, midwives, and healthcare workers: listen to women, communicate clearly, and provide care with compassion, dignity, and urgency.
To civil society: keep listening, advocating, and creating spaces for women, children, and families to be heard.
To our communities and families: support women through pregnancy, childbirth, and beyond.
Maternal and child mortality is not the responsibility of one organization, profession, or person. It is a responsibility we all share.

GM,
Too many Nigerian children are dying from causes we know how to prevent.
At @arieliOrg, we believe every child deserves access to the care, protection, and support they need to survive and thrive.
The time to close these gaps is now.

GM,
What happens to a mother after childbirth?
Maternal health does not end when a woman survives pregnancy and childbirth.
Many new mothers experience emotional stress, exhaustion, isolation, anxiety, and feeling overwhelmed after giving birth.
Yet conversations about postpartum care often focus more on the baby than the mother.
So we need to ask a simple question:
Are you okay?
Postpartum support is an important part of maternal health. Mothers need more than medical care.
They need emotional support, someone who listens, and access to the right care when they need it.
At @arieliOrg we believe maternal healthcare should support women before, during, and after childbirth.
Because a healthy mother is not just a mother who survived childbirth. She is a mother who is supported to live well.

GM,
The real innovation is not AI for AI’s sake.
It is using technology to close the gap between a woman recognizing danger and getting the care she needs.
That is what we are building with Arieli.
GM,
We just finished building the mockup for Arieli, an AI enabled maternal health platform developed by the @arieliOrg.
Arieli connects pregnant women and new mothers to timely, professional care through AI enabled guidance, symptom assessment, and clinical triage.
Women will be able to access Arieli through WhatsApp, Telegram, and a toll free voice hotline, making maternal health support more accessible, especially in underserved communities.
Our goal is simple: reduce preventable maternal deaths by identifying risks early, shortening the time to care, and ensuring continuous follow up throughout pregnancy and after childbirth.
Beginning in Nigeria, we are building Arieli to expand across Sub Saharan Africa, South Asia, and other underserved regions.

GM,
A woman in Nigeria faces a 1 in 19 lifetime risk of dying from pregnancy or childbirth.
In the world’s wealthiest nation, that risk is nearly 1 in 5,000.
That is not biology, It is inequality.
At @arieliOrg, we are working to close that gap through community health education, stronger health systems, and skilled birth attendance.
No woman should be at the mercy of her geography.
Follow @arieliOrg and join us in building a future where every mother has a fair chance to survive childbirth.

GM,
We talk about maternal deaths in Nigeria as statistics.
But behind every number is a woman, a mother, a sister and a daughter.
A woman who may have needed an emergency referral, blood, transport, or timely care.
Maternal death is preventable.
No woman should have to depend on luck to survive childbirth.
We must build health systems designed to protect mothers when they need them most.

This is the reality many mothers and families face every day.
Good water.
Good schools.
Good hospitals.
Good treatment.
Good food.
Good nutrition.
These should not be privileges. They are basic needs.

I visited the Angwan Rogo community to engage with mothers and women, creating awareness and sharing essential support packages.
We discussed the importance of antenatal care, proper handwashing, personal hygiene, and healthy practices that promote safer pregnancies and healthier outcomes for mothers and babies.
Empowering women with knowledge. Supporting mothers.
Promoting healthier communities.

Technology should help us solve real problems, especially those that affect the lives of women and families.
This is part of the thinking behind the @arieliOrg Arieli, an AI enabled maternal health platform being developed to help women access the right support at the right time.
We are exploring how technology and healthcare coordination can help reduce preventable barriers to maternal care, particularly in underserved communities.
There is much work ahead, but the vision is clear: build technology that can make a meaningful difference in women’s lives.
