If there are no Kannadigas across any level, in some factory or company operating on Kannada soil, then that factory or company should not exist on Kannada soil. That's it, no ifs and buts.
Reason, why IT companies will never move out from Bengaluru to North India.

Union Minister @hd_kumaraswamy on Saturday accused Karnataka govt of favouring contractors from Andhra Pradesh & Uttar Pradesh through a package-based contracting system while withholding Rs 39,000 crore in dues to contractors who have completed projects.
Kumaraswamy alleged that state govt is ignoring local contractors, pushing their accounts into non-performing assets (NPA) category.
He questioned govt's decision to approve road development projects worth ₹26,000 crore when existing contractor dues stood at ₹39,000 crore. He termed announcement of fresh projects without clearing pending bills as ridiculous.
Kumaraswamy also demanded postponement of all upcoming KPSC recruitment examinations, including Nov 15 examination for 319 Gazetted Probationers (KAS) posts.
Bengaluru Development Authority (BDA) had awarded a Rs 447-crore contract to Auro Infra Private Limited (Aurobindo Realty and Infrastructure Private Limited) for the construction of a four-lane elevated corridor on Bellary Road, from UAS Staff Quarters to Mehkri Circle.
The project also includes construction of entry & exit ramps connecting East-West Elevated Corridor. The work is being executed under Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) mode. @BDAOfficialGok

Opposition to linguistic states is strongest in the Hindi belt for a simple reason: without them, their population numbers would have given them permanent control over India. Linguistic states were the only real check against that.
Indian regionalism is a constitutional construction. This is why linguistic reorganization was a terrible idea. Not because I'm fundamentally opposed to it in principle, but because India is way too linguistically diverse to be reorganized politically. India's linguistic diversity varies from town to town let alone state to state. Any grouping of districts would automatically pit one against the other. Added to this our constitution also believes in one person- one vote formula complicating the relationships between states. These issues are not just about 'arrogant' migrants who refuse to learn, but about Constitutional systems and artificial linguistic identities.
This is why ancient Indian empires were able to avoid these clashes. Because apart from a royal language (sanskrit), each local district used it's own language. (Not a sub national grouping like a state)

They just want everyone to follow what they follow

Over 90% of staff in @BLRAirport being mallu isn’t an unfair nepotistic hiring practice? 90% of those jobs should go to locals of Karnataka not mallus!
If you were a native of Karnataka you’d be raising your voice to this but since you ain’t you’re trying to diverge.

The only reason I digress any such conversations with these hooligans is because of the blatant casteism.
For the record, im a native kannadiga who believes that if you want to actually develop and let a language flourish, you don't do it by demanding private sector reservations or destroying signboards. You invest in art, literature, and other media through which the language is developed. It is at this idealogical disagreement, anonymous Holatagaaras can't see beyond my name.

KANNADIGAS & JOBS: ANSWERS TO THE QUESTIONS, ALLEGATIONS AND ARGUMENTS AGAINST THE LOCAL EMPLOYMENT MOVEMENT.
A long post, yes. But if you genuinely want to understand why this demand has emerged, what Kannadigas are asking for, and why it is not an anti-migrant movement, please take a few minutes to read this.
Every time Kannadigas raise concerns about employment opportunities in Karnataka, the discussion quickly gets diverted.
"Who built Bengaluru?"
"Isn't India one country?"
"Why should locals get preference?"
"Are you against migrants?"
"Don't companies have the freedom to hire anyone?"
"Who gave activists the authority to question companies?"
Instead of addressing the underlying issue, the entire conversation often gets reduced to regionalism, xenophobia and hostility towards migrants.
So let's address these arguments, one by one.
1. What exactly are Kannadigas demanding?
We are not asking people from other states to leave Karnataka. We are not questioning anyone's right to live, work or do business here.
We are asking a simple question:
When thousands of companies establish operations in Karnataka and generate employment here, why shouldn't Kannadigas receive fair and meaningful access to those opportunities?
There are concerns about local candidates being overlooked, hiring managers favouring people from their own linguistic networks, regional favouritism in promotions and irrelevant language requirements being imposed for otherwise generic jobs.
These are legitimate concerns that deserve examination.
Kannadigas should not have to feel like outsiders when applying for jobs in their own state.
2. Why should companies operating in Karnataka give priority to local talent?
Because Bengaluru's growth did not happen overnight, nor did companies create this ecosystem entirely on their own.
Karnataka's public investments, successive governments, administrators, educational institutions, infrastructure, industrial policies and workforce development played a significant role in making the state an attractive business destination.
The former Mysore Kings had an industrial vision long before Bengaluru became India's IT capital.
Institutions and industries such as IISc, HAL, BEL, BEML, HMT and numerous others were incubated bcs of the same conducive environment and they also laid important foundations for subsequent development.
The state has facilitated businesses through industrial policies, land, electricity, water, roads, infrastructure and administrative support.
If companies expect governments to compete for their investments and provide favourable conditions for business, why is it unreasonable for the people of that state to expect companies to invest in local talent?
3. Who built Bengaluru? Was it the migrants, startups or IT companies?
Let's get this straight.
Bengaluru was not created when IT companies arrived, nor was Karnataka's development initiated by people migrating here.
The Mysore Maharajas, Visionary administrative officers, engineers, scientists, Karnataka governments, local entrepreneurs, workers, farmers who gave their land and local educational institutions all contributed to the foundation of modern Bengaluru.
M. Visvesvaraya's industrial vision, early industrialisation, public-sector investments after Independence, technical institutions and subsequent government policies helped create the ecosystem that attracted the IT industry.
Using this as a ramp, ppl across India subsequently started their companies to encash Bengaluru's growth.
If migrants alone build cities, why haven't all major Indian cities developed an ecosystem comparable to Bengaluru despite having access to talent from across India?
Talent matters. But so do geography, climate, infrastructure, governance, public investment, institutional foundations and decades of policy decisions.

One of my Kannadiga friend who provides transportation services to KIA company in AP faced huge backlash in AP when he won the contract.
He was telling that in every step he was asked by locals why his team has come from Karnataka to AP that he should go back to Karnataka
