Overcast today but still a lovely Autumnal walk. And we saw 2 deer. So close but they seemed at ease with our presence
So I’ve been on my heart tablets for a month now and mum’s really happy with how well I’m doing. I met a new Cav pal on our walk today, he was 8 and his owner couldn’t believe how much running I could do as I’m eleven and a half!! Go me!! Love Betsy xx

I travelled by rail to join my river cruise then travelled home at the end from Nuremberg. Forget all the myths about German efficiency: it certainly doesn’t apply to rail travel where 55% of trains run late. None of my 4 trains were on time 😱😱

Went to see The History of Paper yesterday. It was amazing to see Alan Cumming and Shirley Henderson - what brilliant actors. However the ending was about losing a partner and I found it hard to contain my sobs. Mind you there were lots of tears all round me. Brilliant!
