We called Ariu the Mikaboshi Prince / Ouji before before his name reveal …my mind has been thinking about Shurin with a parasol (so refined!)

The sun must be hell on every Mikaboshi and especially Shurin I don’t know if Hkzn will commit fully to the albinism beyond aesthetics, but if he did, I’d feel really bad Shurin may be risking overexerting himself to prove his worth

A Mikaboshi’s eyes always reflect Kurotsuchi, from the perspective of a Soga

I wonder if one could use Sumika to hide imperfections, and Shurin’s “imperfections” were too much for Sumika to handle

I love when albino characters in animanga are fr albino, like that is a thing that is relevant to their character

Akemura and Shurin are little brothers with incredibly bleak names I wonder if they’ll meet

Yep, even in the Mikaboshi chapter, Ariu speaks the least Heyyyyy Ariu…your little brother is speaking …say something to him why don’t you…
Medi@arrivemediOct 18
The framing of the very last panel in the recent Bachi chapter is interesting The perspective makes Ariu the smallest one, the person across from him is the largest and even has the Datenseki pointed to him Ariu sits more reserved than anyone else Is he the black sheep here?

Shuurin is like a sea angel 💛

(Bachi chapter talk) Aquatic animals who've adapted to the deep sea are often translucent, for camouflage and energy conservation. There is no sunlight, so there is no need to protect from UV radiation, and making melanin would take too many precious resources than it's worth.

So, Shuurin is the Mikaboshi most suited for remaining in that underwater environment. Perhaps, in addition to blood superiority, the Mikaboshi's aversion to those who look different from their typical characteristics is out of a fear of complacency.

They have adapted enough to reside underwater, but truly surviving in that environment...is like admitting they have lost to the Soga.

Lately I’ve been feeling self conscious about my art, like there are things only me and me in a week are allowed to see I’m feeling something is missing
