Reignover brought up an interesting point: People will try to make today about "another Inspired choke against LPL/LCK," but this tournament has been strangely close.
With GEN showing their first signs of inconsistency today, every series of Worlds is set to be insanely close.

the 1-2 group already has HLE in it, which is a death draw for every team in the group. KC-CFO-TSW-G2-AL would be an absolute reaping ground for them lol
the 2-1 group is LYON, MKOI, IG, TES, and (very likely) T1 and BLG
MKOI can't face BLG, but there are no other matchup restrictions.
TES+MKOI+LYON are all hoping to draw each other, and I think of these 6, IG is probably the strongest. LYON is favored over TES+MKOI imo.
