Always a huge pleasure to attend @KentSpecials awards evening. As ever, inspiring nominees and winners of the awards. A volunteer role like no other - saving lives, delivering front-line and specialist policing. A brilliant event championing some truly brilliant people.

A very warm welcome to the UK to our international colleagues from the Hungarian Polgárőrség (Auxiliary Police). Looking forward to a very busy day in London today and then later in the week their visit to the wonderful @KentSpecials

Great yesterday to meet and present to @DCPSpecials SMT. Such a positive day. Celebrating the many positives and huge opportunities. Also focusing on the critical need for significant rethinking around attraction, accessibility and contribution/role. Exciting plans ahead!

As part of its week of coverage on police volunteering internationally, Policing TV captures the amazing atmosphere and speaks to attendees at the brilliant Women in the Special Constabulary conference back in May 2024 in Birmingham. policing.tv/videos/we-are-wo…
Horrific. But super brave of the officer to intervene. Just shows the incredible lengths volunteer police officers go to to keep their communities safe.
We’re sending Ned our best wishes for a speedy recovery from his injuries. 💙

Great to speak at #nwpsc24 North Wales Police Special Constabulary conference today. A really good event, very well attended, and some good discussions about future challenges and direction: reflect, reset, restart.
