Damn it pisses me off I have to be this cynical, but this will never result in even a slap on the wrist today.
BREAKING: Michigan Poll Worker Tells Undercover Journalist in Arabic, “You Know There Is Someone [El-Sayed] You Must Vote For,” Directing Our Undercover Reporter Toward U.S. Senator-elect @AbdulElSayed When our undercover reporter asked, “That Egyptian guy?” the poll worker confirmed “that’s the one you want,” and proceeded to explain to the voter there will be an Arabic-language ballot. Under Michigan Compiled Laws § 168.744, electioneering is prohibited, making it illegal for anyone, including poll workers and poll watchers, to attempt to persuade voters to support or oppose a particular candidate, party ticket, or ballot question. This restriction applies inside polling rooms, connected voting areas, and within 100 feet of any entrance to a building housing a polling place. Violations of this law constitute a misdemeanor.

Replying to @GregAbbott_TX
@GregAbbott_TX So where are you at with this? Do the right thing and protect Texans.
Republicans have control of Texas for 10 more weeks! Governor Abbott should call a special session to limit executive emergency powers NOW. I've been advocating for this for years! Let's get it done while we still can! I discussed on @FOX4 👇

Instead of correcting course, the GOP chose to shoot the messenger and double down on stupid. (This tweet is one year old tomorrow.)

The recipe: -1x high food/gas cost -1x threaten "free" social subsidies. -1x war nobody wants. -Mix in a little H1b corruption -Sprinkle on a bit of party infighting -Touch of bad messaging -Bake for 24 months Voila! The midterms are served!

Ten Random Election Night Thoughts: 1. Democrats in power is good business for conservative media and podcasters. Take that for what it is worth. 2. Half of Americans have an IQ of 100 or less. 3. Why is a midterm loss for the Presidential incumbent’s party so common? Are people really that shortsighted and devoid of animating principles? And I mean this in a non-partisan way. Who votes for Obama in 2008 and then helps the GOP win in 2010? Who votes for Trump in 2024 and then helps the Dems win in 2026? Are Americans really that stupidly fickle? 4. Why can’t every state count its votes in a few hours like Florida? 5. Democrat voters are like locusts. They ravage one state, escape that state to a good and decent state, and then turn their new state into the same hellhole they just left. Don’t believe me? Ask Colorado. Now, Texas, apparently. 6. Thune is happy right now. 7. The silver lining is that the Dems are going to accomplish nothing in the next two years other than to run endless, silly investigations and impeachments, which will make them look impotent and weak headed into 2028. 8. Trump is about to be unleashed. He has no midterms to worry about and he probably could care less about the campaign of the 2028 GOP nominee, JD or otherwise. “Unitary executive” is about to take on a new meaning. 9. If I was whomever is in charge of Iran at the moment, I’d be looking at properties in the Cayman Islands. 10. The legacy media still has more power than most conservatives are willing to acknowledge.

And it starts.
🚨🚨THE DEMOCRACY FILES / ILLEGITIMACY PLAYBOOK, PART 14: TRUST-ENGINEERING 🚨 This is the last Democracy Files drop before Election Day on November 3, 2026. No matter the election results, ask yourself those questions: • Why do protests even work at all? • Why does "nonviolence" work as a tool of regime change? • Why do color revolutions work at all? The Democracy Files document efforts that are seeded over multiple years, through building of a massive civil society that can mobilize on a snap of fingers. This civil society is supported by training judiciary, creating so-called "independent media" to amplify agendas, a fractal network of NGOs reaching into every demographic, massive amounts of foreign aid / philanthropic dollars, and so-called "international solidarity." But what is the atomic unit behind all those dollars, activists, lawyers, journalists? You are. Or more accurately, your trust is. Think about it: What if nobody believed there was a such thing as an organic protest? Then the imagery of Eastern Europeans storming buildings cease to be a spotaneous truimph of liberty and start looking like something much more engineered. Tonight's Democracy Drop focuses on how our trust is engineered by invisible sources around us to create legitimacy for the NGO-Administrative Complex. They go to lengths to hide their own existence; in one segment, they go from saying "nobody" funds them to admitting "some people get paid" to declaring the existence of 200 networks and 1,200 groups. They've engineered plans for all outcomes in tomorrow's elections. No matter what happens, there will be a new narrative being forced upon us top down. Think hard and carefully on who you will trust to navigate the aftermath, especially as we enter the "danger period" revealed in the Democracy Files of November 3 - January 3. Hold fast to God. And vote straight Republican.

The messaging out of the Whitehouse for the past year has been utterly stupid and disconnected from reality. This is right up there with calling the economy great and saying you want higher house prices. Just stupid.

GOP needs to take DEM's strategy of promising free shit to everyone. Then just be themselves and not come through on their promises like usual. At least they might get more traction.

And if you believe this, you're in the weird Tucker-Candice wacko world. Convenient timing the day before the midterms for this "news" to come out. Just insane if you believe any of it.
Under pressure from Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu, the Trump administration may be within days of launching a nuclear strike on Iran. The target would be Pickax Mountain in central Iran, where Israeli intelligence claims the Iranian government has restarted its nuclear enrichment program. No conventional weapon in the American arsenal can penetrate 300 feet of solid granite to destroy the tunnels where enrichment is supposedly taking place. The only military option is a nuclear strike. Netanyahu has been pushing hard for one. “Bibi calls Trump about it every day,” says an informed observer. Netanyahu is cornered and desperate. After last week’s election results, he can’t form a government unless Trump intervenes directly in Israeli politics and brokers a deal with other parties that gives Netanyahu 61 seats in the Knesset. Otherwise, he is out as prime minister and on his way to ignominy, investigations and possibly jail. Netanyahu must stay close to Trump. He needs this war. To that end, he’s applied maximum pressure to his closest allies in the administration, including Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth and CENTCOM commander Brad Cooper. Both oppose a negotiated settlement to the war they’ve so grievously mismanaged; both are pushing to restart major combat operations. Secretary of State Marco Rubio and CIA director John Ratcliffe are also following Netanyahu’s lead, as are leaders of the Democratic Party. In a recent meeting on the subject, former president Barack Obama said he opposes the current Iran peace deal being drafted in Doha. The rest of America’s longtime allies in the Middle East are terrified by the prospect of more war. On September 27th, Netanyahu flew secretly to Abu Dhabi to enlist the UAE in his lobbying effort for a final attack on Iran. The Emiratis refused. After eight months of conflict, Gulf economies are teetering. So are global energy and fertilizer markets. They won’t recover soon. Globally, there are a total of about 850 supertankers used to transport oil from producers to the rest of the world. In October alone, 11 of them were badly damaged in Hormuz. At this pace, a global depression is imminent. A nuclear strike would radically accelerate the destruction. Fallout from a ground explosion at Pickax Mountain would contaminate the Persian Gulf, poisoning the water supply for 100 million people. And those are just some of the immediate consequences for the region. The rest of the world is every bit as exposed. No country other than the United States has ever used a nuclear weapon in war. Some would like to. An American nuclear attack on Iran would set a new precedent. The Russians have already told at least two other governments that an American nuclear strike on Iran would free them to use nuclear weapons against Ukraine. Pakistan and India would be tempted to do the same against each other, as would North Korea against Seoul. After the first nuclear strike, World War Three is inevitable. That war would be short and final. We’ve been sleepwalking toward this moment for months. Since February, the administration has quietly rewritten America’s nuclear doctrine to make first use of so-called “battlefield nukes” easier and therefore more likely. No one in Washington in either party seems bothered by this. Now we’re on the brink of it. Close observers say Trump is likely to decide by next weekend whether or not to use nuclear weapons. That would be November 7, six days from now. To his credit, he’s hesitating. At the moment, Trump is listening to his vice president, JD Vance, and to his envoy and friend Steve Witkoff, both of whom argue a deal with Iran can be made. They’re right, though it won’t be simple. The Iranians are famously frustrating to negotiate with under any circumstances, and elements of that government have become more radical since Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and his family were killed in February. After decades of isolation, even relatively moderate Iranian leaders seem confused by how decisions are made in the West. (There is a widespread belief in Tehran, for example, that the United States government controls Israel.) But overall, people who have spoken to decision-makers in Iran say there is consensus there that more war is bad for everyone and a deal is worth making. One group that hasn’t been consulted so far is the global population — the hundreds of millions of people who will be killed along with their children if Trump is pushed by Netanyahu into launching a nuclear strike next week. Now would be the time for them to speak up.

🚨🚨 THE ILLEGITIMACY PLAYBOOK / THE DEMOCRACY FILES: A PRIMER 🚨 I will be using this thread to track all drops, so bookmark it. I spent most of yesterday backing everything (now 312 gigabytes) up in various sources and getting the materials out to others. I also produced an AI video (below) to explain the whole thing to others are not on 𝕏 - feel free to distribute. Here's the primer: USAID, the foreign aid agency, had a democracy office. Inside the agency, it was called DRG. Officially, DRG administered "democracy assistance." They'd go inside countries they thought were sliding into authoritarianism and help the opposition there. That assistance included election monitoring, judicary support, independent media, and civil society building. You may have heard the term "color revolution." The model comes from Serbia in 2000, where trained student activists brought down Milosevic with the help of Western governments, after sustained protests. With the help of USAID's democracy office, this model was implemented in many other countries to topple governments: Georgia's "Rose Revolution" in 2003, Ukraine's "Orange Revolution" in 2004, and many more. Then last year, DOGE shut down USAID. But the USAID democracy office didn't stop. They formed a group called the Democracy Renewal Group, the same initials as their office (USAID Democracy, Human Rights, Governance). Their goal: apply their own playbook to the United States itself. This goal became a plan, called Renew American Democracy (RAD). It invoked the "4 B's" framework. Block - use lawfare and protests to make life harder for the Trump administration. Bridge & Belong - control dialogue and win people over. The final and most important B is Build. Build means redesigning the American government itself, and the crisis is the opening. In their own words: "We can take that breakdown moment and leverage it for a big structural reform, you know, refounding moment." - Danielle Reiff, DRG lead. Calls show DRG working alongside DSA on ideas of creating a different government, one that does away with the Constitution itself. DRG does not run the Block operations. They hand it to UDA, the United Democracy Alliance. One organizer calls it a "huge galaxy": lawsuits, street protests, non-cooperation. They list No Kings, Indivisible, MoveOn, 50501, and many other mega-activist NGOs among their members. Another organizer calls UDA Erica Chenoweth's project. Chenoweth is the Harvard professor behind the three-and-half-percent rule of regime change: get that share of a country's populace onto the streets, and historically, the movement wins. The UDA is very "hush-hush." They have no website, no roster, no filings. Then come the red lines: things the Trump administration could do, such as calling the Insurrection Act on protesters, that would mean that the federal government, in their words, "crosses the threshold into illegitimacy." Nobody voted on those lines. There was no public debate. These red lines were developed within secretive working groups, and in a paper addressed to governors and staff. In the words of Reiff/DRG: "So that if there is a red line crossed in terms of a Constitutional crisis, like everyone's already pre-organized. And so Mike Smith actually said, he goes, oh, you guys have the day after tomorrow plan." Cross a line, and the paper's options include states refusing to lend their resources to federal officials, and governors convening what it calls a "Third Continential Congress." Running the UDA's Insurrection Act working group: Rear Admiral Mike Smith (RET) of National Security Leaders of America (NSL4A). NSL4A is also credited with operationalizing UDA, the blocking operations. NSL4A consists of about 1,600 ex-officers, spies, diplomats. They're turning red lines into indicators and running a situation room to monitor them throughout the midterms and beyond. The NSL4A's lawyers told them to stop recording meetings in case of subpoenas. But the rest of the network continued to record. DRG works in conjunction with Renew to Thrive (R2T), which ended up accidentally publishing 400+ calls and thousands of documents. These calls and documents were never meant for our eyes, but it's them, on tape. Thousands of NGOs and billions of dollars are involved in this endeavor. Most of them believe they're saving democracy. The problem is that people who spent their careers deciding when other countries' governments had lost their legitimacy wrote that test for ours, in private, and planned for what comes after. Who decides when your government is legitimate?
