Nobody warned me that healing from CPTSD would involve getting angry. I thought healing would make me calmer and more forgiving. Instead, sometimes I remember something from my past and think, wait. That was actually fucked up. I deserved better than that. And suddenly I’m angry for the version of me who thought all of it was normal.

ironically my gender affirming surgery will leave me completely without dips but if i had the chance to swap to female public arch with dips and be able to have a normal examination i couldn’t have been happier.
