J. Cole is NO LONGER retiring 🚨 “When I was making that album, I was making it like, 'Damn, this is going to be my last sh*t.' Luckily, by the time I got to actually finishing the album, because of circumstances, I'm like, 'Nah, I'll never say I'm going to retire.” (via GQ / Frazier Tharpe II)

they were talking about derogatory terms being used in hiphop, there was a time where activists and politicians were calling out rappers for using to many nasty words towards in their music specifically towards women and this was his response 😭😭😭

West Coast Rapper Lefty Gunplay was asked by Tony Yayo about not using the N-word. Yayo-“You say you don’t use the N-word, explain that to me?” Lefty - “I don’t speak like that, and I know it’s a respect thing to not come up to a black and use that word, it’s not in my vocabulary” Uncle Murda- “ but out here it’s different, because we grew up with Latinos and we all together, in New York it’s different.” Lefty - “but if he were to do that in prison…” (🎥The Real Report/Tony Yayo/Uncle Murda/YouTube)
